EP. 31 Jared John, Steubenville, Ohio (Diamond Cuts)
Welcome back everyone for episode 31 of the zero Analytics podcast. Today we venture back to Ohio to visit a driver who while still young in age (at least to me) has built a decent career making circles already and arguably yet to enter his prime. Currently a student in the mechanical engineering program at the university of Akron, we learn how he’s applied knowledge to his program as he’s grown as a student while at the same time leading his own student along the way in the karting genre. Already having a successful racing career by most people’s standards, it will be interesting to follow along after the show to see where he can take it from here. While we talk mostly about racing the thing that stuck out to me the most was the relationships built along the way. This podcast is about karting and racing but as most who have exited the sport know.... it’s the relationships and the memories built off the track that often times mean the most when we take a moment to reflect. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.... ladies and gentlemen.... without any further adu... my friend Mr. Jared John

EP. 29 Beasley Brothers - RTN Racing Fayetteville, Arkansas
Welcome back everyone for episode 29 of the Zero Analytics podcast. In this episode we try a few firsts. First time we recorded video which can be found on the Facebook page and the first time we had two guests on at once. We visit Fayetteville Arkansas to visit two brothers that are chasing their dream. Their karting journey began at a family reunion when the yearly competition was build a kart and race it in the family’s pasture. As many of our stories go.... it only takes a few laps to get hooked! Like many of our listeners the brothers and made parts, worked side jobs and hustles to provide themselves with the opportunity to drive. Many people don’t know the Zero in Zero Analytics represents an oval track. I’m always looking for different types of guests from all aspects of oval track racing.... You don’t have to be a big time name or have won thousands of dollars. Sometimes the stories and message are far bigger than the accomplishments to date. With that being said.... I hope you enjoy the is wide ranging conversation with my friends: David and Beez Beasley

EP. 27 Mike Halliburton (Columbia, MO)
Welcome back everyone for episode 27 of the Zero Analytics podcast. Columbia, Missouri is where we find today’s guest..... his name actually came up during Wesley Leblanc’s episode about a year ago in reference on chassis dynamics and balance. Like many of the past guest.... I started following his journey on social media. In the past I’ve touched on fitness in the sport of karting and think at any level it’s another piece of the puzzle. Endurance, fitness and focus are increasingly becoming the difference in an average day at the track and a day to remember. Thankfully today’s guest is a high level performer in the sport of karting and fitness. He shares some great advice on simple body weight exercises for any driver.... or person for that matter who wants to be better! Along the way in his karting journey he has performed at a high level winning big races in the MidWest for many years now and finds himself in a position as a driver, crew chief, coach and mentor..... ladies and gentlemen.... without any further adu , my friend Mr Mike Halliburton

EP. 25 Alex White - BAW Motorsports - Lewes, Delaware
Welcome back everyone for episode 25 of the zero analytics podcast. Today we stay in my home state of Delaware to visit one of my favorite people in karting. I started doing tires for his older brother back in 2004 and over the last 15 years or so I’ve watched this driver grow from a little kid that hung out at the race track to running up front at the highest level in karting. Many people know who he is from his success in the sport but most don’t realize it wasn’t always an easy journey for him in the early years. Many of my favorite memories in karting have involved this driver and his family. I’ve enjoyed watching him grow into a great driver and more importantly one of the nicest most compassionate young men I’ve ever meant. .... my little brother from another mother Mr Alexander White of Lewes, Delaware.

EP. 23 Dustin Stagen (Stagen Tire Solutions) Memphis, TN
Welcome back everyone for episode 23 of the zero analytics podcast, where we explore the karting world to hear the journey from top performers in all aspects of our sport. In Today’s episode we visit Memphis, TN to visit with Dustin Stagen. Like some of the previous guest, Dustin and I became friends on social media as a result of the podcast and I’ve kept up with his post and racing through the last year. Most of the questions and requests I’ve received through the podcast have been from guys that run higher HP classes, often times more along the lines of what some would call the backyard circuit. When I say backyard I don’t mean any less competitive.... it just happens to be their only way to race due to the lack of tracks in their area. As Dustin and I mention in the podcast.... I want to make sure I don’t get tunnel vision and stick to only the southeast or even just high level guys that race all the time for big money. Our sport is made up of alll kinds of racers and teams and I want the podcast to be able to help everyone in some way. Dustin has raced at all levels with success and we had a great conversation... touching on all sorts of topics. I hope you enjoy this wide ranging conversation as much as I did.... ladies and gentlemen without any further adu.... my friend Mr Dustin Chase Stagen!

EP. 22 Mackie Flood (The "Track Whisperer") Campobella, SC
Welcome back everyone for episode 22 of the zero analytics podcast, where we explore the karting world to hear the journey from top performers in all aspects of our sport. In Today’s episode we visit the southeast to dig into the tedious process of preparing the racing surface for some of the biggest races in the sport. Daytona Dirt, Georgia Karting Complex, Patriot speedway and even the karting event held last year at the famed Charlotte Dirt Track (just to name a few). The track can dictate many things on race day.... both good and bad. A few months ago we visited with a gentleman Who excels at preparing the same track throughout the year...... today we look at the approach from someone who travels to a bunch of different tracks containing very different soil structures and geographical hurdles to prepare tracks for race day. As with past guest who are in the process of mastering their trade in the area of tires, motors and chassis it’s refreshing to speak to someone at the top of their game in any area. There is a ton of knowledge for racers and track owners in this conversation. Ladies and gentlemen without any further adu.... my friend Mr Mackie flood. Remember: help spread the word and subscribe and share the podcast!

Through a few conversations with people who know him I became more intrigued with his approach and process from afar. Being a long time participant in the sport we were able to touch on our sports past, the current state and future of where we hope it goes from here. We had a wide ranging conversation about life, parenting and karting. It’s definitely one of my favorite episodes so far and although we recorded for almost two hours time will fly by as you listen along to today’s guest. EP. 20 Stephen Adams (Lil Donkey)
Welcome back everyone for episode 20 of the za podcast. Our guest today is one of the best drivers in the country and has been for several years now. He’s one of the first people I reached out to when I started this podcast and I’m glad we finally get the chance to hear and share is story. Few drivers, tire guys or engine builders will ever get the opportunity to race karts for a living. A lot of listeners remember the days when the only way to be full time was to build mothers or chassis. As the sport has evolved Into larger pay days and grown in popularity so have the opportunities within the sport. Lil Donkey as he’s known on the southern money circuit has turned doing tires and driving at the highest level into a full time gig. I e watched Him grow as a person and a driver over the past 15 or so years to be near or at the top of the list for long time karters as someone you would want to start a team behind. He’s picked up several career defining wins in a sport where most would be happywinning one. We explore his humble beginnings at Johnston County to being factory pilot for some of the best karting companies and teams in the country and having the coolest tshirt n karting. You might not think he’s the goat.... but he’s definitely the undisputed Donkey in karting. As you’ll hear him elaborate on in this episode... it hasnt always been easy..... but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Ladies and gentlemen.... without any further adu.... my friend Mr Stephen “Lil donkey” Adams.

Ryan pilots the mark mode, P&p speed shop ride on the southeast tour, hitting as many big races as possible. Knowing Ryan from a distance through the team I used to travel with I finally got a chance to talk with him at the first annual G-man race earlier this year. I was impressed with his performance on the track and his demeanor off the track. We all knew the names Cash, Mullis, Adams and Connell but who is the next generation to take the sport into the future. Who knows. But I’m definitely rooting for today’s guest. Without any further adu.... my friend Mr. Ryan O’Connor!
