Emancipation - Part of speech - Noun derived from the word "Emancipate".The fact or process of being set free from legal, social, or political restrictions; liberation."The social and political emancipation of Women, Men and People". In celebration of Emancipation Day and in remembrance of our shared history across the diasporas, i decided to didicate this episode to our ancestors. Epi. 2 - That Makin' Any Sense?
After kicking of the New Year 2017, the country of Trinidad and Tobago went into a stir as the famous question "That Makin' Any Sense?" was asked from sun up to sun down. The question was stated as a form of response in a television interview which occurred late December of 2016. Though the question seemed quite straight forward, social media took the statement to higher heights in a direction which seemed to enable one to use the statement as a joke. This phrase/question became viral with the use/creation of memes and statuses.
