Welcome Prayer Champions to the last Wednesday broadcast of this month. We've made it thus far with so much for which we are grateful! Through all of the pandemic news, catastrophic weather incidents, and unprecedented climate extremes, we can continue to profess God's enduring love for us and our determination to remain faithful. Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2,  Amplified

Prayer Champions, how do we approach God’s throne? What is our posture? What is our mindset? Our foundational scripture instructs us to approach the throne of grace boldly, confidently, courageously, valiantly, and shamelessly. This can only be accomplished by completely comprehending ‘Who’ sits on the throne and responding with recognition, reverence, and adoration. “Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews” 4:16, NKJV

Prayer Champions you are a part of an intercessory network of people who are fearless, daring, resolute,and steadfast in fervent prayer. There are others just like you who are praying for those in their circle of influence. As intercessors, it is essential that we pray for our loved ones by name. Husbands pray for your wives and wives pray for your husbands. Parents pray for your children and children pray for your parents. Siblings pray for each other. Prayer Champions we should regularly pray for the people we love, the friends and associates we care about, and the people we encounter on a regular basis. There will also be times when the Holy Spirit will lead us to pray for complete strangers with whom we have a chance to encounter on an airplane or at a supermarket, etc. “Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and [a]everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.”  (Matthew 18:19 Amplified)

Prayer Champions let's continue to trust God. The chorus of an old church hymn says, Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey. Those lyrics remind us that there is a purpose for trusting and obeying God. The words of two of the verses say, But we never can prove the delights of His love, Until all on the altar we lay; For the favor, He shows, for the joy He bestows, Are for them who will trust and obey. Then in fellowship sweet, we will sit at His feet, Or we’ll walk by His side in the way; What He says we will do, where He sends we will go; Never fear, only trust and obey.

Prayer Champions, we must forgive if we do not want our prayers hindered. The act of forgiving is something that one chooses to do. It is a willingness to give up the desire to punish someone who has caused an offense. Choosing to forgive leads to our emotional healing. It is the process of letting go of negative emotions and having total peace about who we are, what we are doing, and where we are going, individually and in a relationship with others. "In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do.  You can't get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others.  If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God’s part."(Matthew 6:14, Message)

Prayer Champions, it is imperative to our prayer lives that we have faith in God. It is in God we live and move and have our being.  We are dependent upon the Lord and want our lives to bring God glory as we pray for ourselves and others, confidently and in faith through the power of the Holy Spirit. When we pray in faith, we believe that God can answer our prayers. It means that we trust God no matter how things may seem. When we ask in faith, it indicates that we know that God has the solution for our problem. Our faith assures us that God will allow things to work together for our good. “So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.  For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:22, NKJV)

Prayer Champions, what scriptures inspire you? When you need inspiration, do you have verses that you can turn to for motivation? Do you have scriptures that prompt you or empower you to move forward? One of my favorite inspirational scriptures is Proverbs 16:3, NIV, Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.  

Happy New Year Prayer Champions!  We made it! Thank You, Lord! After our month-long Hiatus, we are back again for the first Prayer Champions’ International Broadcast of 2022! Not only is this the first Wednesday of a brand month, but it is also the very first Wednesday of a brand new year! God is making all things new! And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”           Revelation 21:5, NASB

Prayer Champions, let’s give thanks unto the Lord! God is great and God is greatly to be praised. As we know prayer champions, our intimate relationship with God grants us access to the throne of Grace. We also know how to pray in various formats. All prayer is not warfare, or petitions, or seeking God only when we are in trouble. As prayer champions, we offer prayers of worship, adoration, and also prayers of thanksgiving. Today is that type of prayer day. Today we say thank You for all that God has done for us. Today is all about expressing our gratitude and our love for our Lord.

Prayer Champions, we have made it to the start of another month! Thank You, Jesus! Let's take the time every day to count our blessings and express the things and people in our lives for which we are grateful. Although we are still in the midst of a global pandemic, we can still express our gratitude for what we do have! Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for God is good!

Prayer Champions, let's welcome our special guest, Pastor Patricia Washington! She is the co-founder of Grace For Living Ministries in Longwood, FL.  As is her character she is totally dedicated to the ministry and most especially to the “People of Grace” for whom she spends countless hours fasting and praying.  Much of her time is spent counseling women in the way of the Word.  She is a strong advocate of breaking generational curses. Pastor Patricia is an anointed exalter with strong praise in her heart and on her lips. Prayer Champions, lets greet our special guest, Candace Norris Williams for continued teaching on the prayer closet. Each second Wednesday of the month we learn to use the letters in the prayer closet to help us remember the privilege and benefits we have in our prayer closets. "But you, when you pray, enter your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." Matthew 6:6, MEV

Be Encouraged Prayer Champions! Often, fear can cause us to miss the positive things in our lives.  Instead of seeing the good, fear causes us to focus on the negative.  As Prayer Champions, we are not to allow fear to rule our lives.  Perfect love for JESUS CHRIST allows us to cast out all fear.  We have the authority to confidently face fearful situations armed with the knowledge that the greatest power is on GOD’S side.  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank God for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. God’s peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7, TLB

Greetings Prayer Champions and welcome to the first day of autumn or Fall here in the United States.  In the fall we transition from hot weather to cold weather. It is the season when the duration of daylight decreases and the length of the night increase. One of the main features of fall is the change of color of the green leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed. God’s handiwork is glorious if ever you get out in nature and take a fall foliage tour around forests, nature parks, and other places where trees grow. “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22, NKJV

Prayer Champions, when I think of other words for fear, I can list the words terror, dread, anxiety, horror, distress, fright. Panic, alarm, trepidation, apprehension, worry, concern, be afraid, frightened, scared, fearful, or full of fear. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] John 14:27, AMPC

Prayer Champions, let's welcome Special Guest Candace Norris Williams as she continues her teaching on The Prayer Closet for July!  Today we will deal with the letter "c" to start the word, closet. Prayer Champions, The HOLY SPIRIT has empowered us with forbearance, endurance, fortitude, unflappability, and serenity. We must trust God absolutely and will not cast away our confidence in the Lord no matter what we are facing. We know that nothing will separate us from God's everlasting Love! They that wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31, NKJV

Prayer Champions, our foundational scripture is found at Hebrews 4:16, and I will read it to you from the NKJV, Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. So today’s topic is Pray With All Boldness. 

Prayer Champions, faith is the key element in successful spiritual healing.  Faith is a noun defined as belief that does not rest on logical proof and material evidence.  It is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof. It is the conviction that is developmental in direct response to a spiritual understanding. This faith is an intangible force that propels tangible action. To put it another way, faith is the thing a person does, not merely something one believes. Faith, or the intangible tangible, causes one to boldly go forth in areas that may seem impossible to garner the things desired in life. “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1, NLT

Prayer Champions, how do you make a quality decision? Is it, eenie- meanie-minie- Moe or let me flip a coin? Is it, heads I’ll ask GOD or tails I’ll do what I think is best. Do you make a list of pros and cons around a decision, or do you seek the advice of others to see what they think you should do? “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” Deuteronomy 30:19, NKJV
