this movie almost made us cry. we should cancel hitler. when was the first film? how to get a lawyer for free tutorial. brad was almost murdered by a boy. cians mom wages a holy war. we need a supportive father figure. guys don’t get enough pep talks. brad’s either an agent of destruction or an agent of chaos. best joke of the week is in minute 38. nosebleeds go away if you get enough of them. bullying a guy while wearing roller skates. horse cops. it’s crazy how mentally normal we are. @cian_beatty@Ihatebrad@chopodnetwork@justintrudeau@ccis See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The god-kings of comedy and movies are back once again with another episode hot off their lips. This week, the fellas™ watched Dazed and Confused (1993), the cult classic that Brad didn’t understand, but I’m pretty sure I did. Let me know in person only if you disagree with our takes. We also tell a lot of party and debauchery stories, so our moms and the police better sit this episode out, please. 47. Better Off Dead (1985)
This week we decided to finally cover a movie both of our dads loved, apparently, Better Off Dead. It’s the 80’s comedy about a broken-hearted teenager who cant stop trying to kill himself and only feels better after winning a ski competition and getting a different girlfriend. It’s a tale as old as time, and one anyone as dope at skiing as me (Cian) can relate to. Great episode, lot’s of suicide talk (so trigger warning if you’re a pimp on the edge), but also this movies a comedy so it’s still a funny episode thank god.@ypwtpod@chopodnetwork@cian_beatty@ihatebrad@CIA@CIACulinary See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

46. Edward Scissorhands (1980)
we address some petty local comedy scene drama(skip to 9:25 if you don’t want to hear that). cian thinks he could solve a murder. brad’s dad is in a feud with the neighbour. are the suburbs a sick and depraved place? folx are shitting in alleys. can you accuse people of whatever you want if you’re not a cop? cian the judge cian the jury cian the executioner. why does everyone ask how you’re doing in the suburbs? brad hides his car so the neighbours don’t know if he’s home or not. how do we fix suburb culture? cian and brad both lived in worlds of lies until very recently. we figure out our personality defining moments. edward scissorhands is a movie about suburban people and how the in group treats outsiders, our parents learned nothing from it and should re watch this one. @chopodnetwork@ypwtpod See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

45. Aladdin (1992) ft. Steven Darnell
the boys who are men on a technicality are back, and this week they have a guest, the unarguably full grown man himself, it's Steven Darnell. he brought with him his favorite movie of all time (and tell people I said that), Aladdin (1992). steven disrespected us by recommending a disney movie for babies instead of the typical mob shit we get up to, however, to nobodys surprise, it became brads favorite movie we've covered on the show. he admitted to me off-air he watched it six times so you tell me if he's secretly 8 or not.anyways, leave a nice review on itunes to counteract the slander we address in the start of the episodelove you@ypwtpod@cian_beatty@ihatebrad@chopodnetwork See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

44. Top Gun (1986)
what's up you tubers, were back this week with another in a long series of episodes posted on time. we are talking about top gun, its not a perfect man movie this time its a pobodys nerfect man movie, this is definitely propaganda but for who? what did it achieve? are there any hot guys in russia? what do cian and brad want the other one to do with their ashes? when is the right time to quit sports? were teams only invented to facilitate ass-smacking?all these qyestuins and more are answered for you in the new episode of your parents watched this brought to you by comedy here often@cian_beatty@Ihatebrad@chopodnetwork@buzzfeedmovies See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

43. Where The Buffalo Roam (1980)
welcome back to the show sorry for the late episode, its another Our Bad Special, we recorded a hot one on fear and loathing in Las Vegas with nick mcquik but the file was corrupted. probably because of something cian did. so we decided to make up for it we would put out a solo episode about the worse version of that movie, and here it is folks.this week we discuss hunter s Thompson guys, was his legendary art worth the creation of these loathsome human side-effects? is toxic masculinity the reason people do drugs? brad does research for the first time ever on the show. who was the leader of the hippy movement? is being a hippy the same as being an acid guy? all that and more gets addressed this week on your parents watched this brought to you by comedy here often@cian_beatty@Ihatebrad@chopodnetworkr/gonzodisclaimer we make fun of some people in this episode so if by chance you hear us just remember that we don't think you should change, we think you should not care about our opinion. thanks for listening everybody See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

42. Casino (1995)
Welcome back to the show folks. this week we talk about casino, the only movie that's about bad stuff but everything looks pretty. a real juxtaposition. cian confuses the movie with goodfellas about 7 times. I don't know man its 3 in the morning as I write this and I got into the jager bombs about 6 hours ago, the powerful feeling is wearing off as we speak, can't remember what we cover in this episode but it is fun and funny. we make fun of adults who like fireworks and give relationship advice, we also guess what we think will be the downfall of this podcast and our friendship. like I said its a hot one baby. just listen to it. what type of person would read the description of a podcast episode and then not listen to it, youre already trapped in my web of influence so idk what to tell you.@cian_beatty@Ihatebrad@chopodnetwork@lilnasx See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

41. Independence Day (1996)
Whats up you sweaty fellas, this week we're watching the classic summer blockbuster, Independence Day. It stars Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, and others. This movie has a lot going on. On one hand, it's an action blockbuster, and on the other hand it's American propaganda, but on both hands it succeeds totally. This movie ruled, Brad says otherwise, but it's not his turn to write the description this week so I'm now speaking for him and saying this was a good movie. If you want to hear his uneducated opinions, listen to the episode. Follow us:@ypwtpod@ihatebrad@cian_beatty@chopodnetwork@willsmith See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

40. The Sandlot (1993) with Scott Belford
welcome back to the comedy slash thinking podcast. the only podcast where we make fun of movies but we also make you think, and that's fun too. this week we talk about the sandlot, a movie that provokes so little thought that even baseball fans were into it (boom mother fucker take that [im one of the top roast battlers out there] - also don't worry im not judging you im a fan of way lamer shit like sweaters and tiktokers) we thought this was the best coming of age movie we have seen so far on the podcast which is saying either a lot or nothing depending on what you think, and we WILL change that opinion if you tell us to. its good, its not too horny, what more can you ask from a 90s movie? this episode is fun, the world is bad why not laugh about movies with the boy angels and their friend Scott.find the answer some of these questions and more in the latest episode of Comedy Here Often's "golden pod"@chopodnetwork@cian_beatty@the_belf7@Ihatebrad@nestle@SCOTUSkiss kiss smooch smooch See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The Breakfast Club (1985)
sorry we missed last week the boys got a little bit overwhelmed but that's bound to happen when youre being a woke pimp 24 hours of every day of the week, we are trying however. welcome to the podcast brought to you by comedy here often, the only official one that cian and brad host. this week we talk about the breakfast club which we can't decide if we like or hate, it raises a lot of questions. why was the 80's so horny? do jocks have it rough? is this movie telling us to not believe stereotypes super guilty of stereotyping? why is everything made for boys? brad officially denounces Lawrence of arabia who he's pretty sure was a guy and not just a book. do kids need to have harder lives? when was the first school shooting? who is Barry manelo? is this movie an allegory for ulysses by James Joyce or im back by eminem? why did fashion used to just be how many jackets you were wearing? listen to the episode for the answer to all these questions except the last one which im just now realizing I forgot to bring up.@chopodnetwork@Iheartradio@cian_beatty@barstoolsports (this ones just a hopeful thing) See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Karate Kid (1984)
welcome to the show. Alot going on this week in the world, a lot going on this week in the podcast, we talk about karate kid which is either a revenge fantasy or a story about how a maintenance guy convinced a kid to do his job for him. we also talk about how many kids we could beat up in a row, how tactical brad is, were swords actually real? did monkeys use weapons? dragon penis yes or no? is being wet better than being dry? we tell some stories about being kids and brad realizes he's a mean person. this movie invented stranger danger. your parents watched this baby its time to kick back and audio smoke the Vibe Of Peace.
