Especially when you're the youngest of 7. My sister corrected me after hearing the podcast. My Dad wasn't in Army during the war. He joined in June of 1947 at 16 and half, though he lied about being 17 and a half. He served for a number of years in the Guard but was never in the army and never served in any fashion during the war.I don't know where I combined all that incorrect information together. I'd seen the picture of my Dad in uniform. Someone in the family mentioned him serving, but he never talked about it. Maybe it was one of my brothers, or a cousin or someone, but as a little kid you hear stuff and just assume that's part of Dad's story and go from there. Thanks to my sister MaryAnn (for many things) including being the families historian and helping me take my foot out of my mouth.   Thanks, Jason
