The first thing that you need to understand about starting a real estate business or maybe you are needing to redefine your real estate career, is that YES! this is a business, you need to start thinking like a business owner and that means planning! I have 4 steps for you to lay the foundation work needed to be successful in this career,  if you are an experienced agent, maybe we are patching the foundation you already have. What stands between us and achieving our most ambitious dreams, has far less to do with us possessing some magical skill or talent, and far more to do with how we approach problems and how we make decisions to solve them. My daughter taught me a lesson to do in being adaptable and being able to recalculate my day if needed, not allowing it to completely derail my day, but just define it with different detours as needed. 

you have to work harder than anyone, because the easy road is not going to get you to the level of success that you are so often comparing yourself to and dreaming of being at. Assessing- is this the best that you can do? Have self competition, you always want to outwork your potential. Often times you don't even realize your potential because you haven't laid any tasks infant of yourself to challenge yourself to complete them. If you don't have the time to put in the work, you don't get to enjoy the benefit. 

What we decide to think, our MINDSET, whatever go's through our head is completely within our control. It's a tough challenge to stop thinking about what other people tell you to think. Your coach, your boss, your family, colleagues....... They are all experts on what your supposed to be doing, and they rarely hesitate to tell you. You are successful because you don't take no for an answer, you didn't allow someone to determine what your dreams are or should be! 

The Importance of daily focus cannot be understated. daily focus is why some people are able to build success and grow a business while others think about it......but never achieve it. Prioritize your productive focus! it's not about time management, it's about self management.
