Remember when you were a kid and time was kept by when the school year ended and summer began? Camp, pools, and endless hours just staring at the clouds. I wish I could go back to that. I would literally do anything to relive those golden years. I would go over to an old man's house and dress up as his deceased wife and pretend that I am said wife to learn the formula he came up with in the 60s for travel to other universes using string theory. I would lie in bed with this man every night singing him to sleep so that he can whisper the secrets of time in his sleep as I write them down. And on that day I crack time travel, I will pull off that wig and thank that man. Anywho, summer is here and so is WRYAT. See you outside and I will be seeing you tonight, Prof. Ferdinand Henderson.

That ol' government. It is with you when you are born and long after you are dead. It watches you when you sleep and is always there. When I was a kid, I would write the goverment notes about how it would be great if we could be together. After 25 long years, it wrote back. But the goverment said it was seeing someone else and that while it liked my weekly letters and commerative calendar of me holding goverment documents, it sadly did not think we had a spark for longevity. I get it. It has been around for 100+ years and with my eating habits, I have like 8 to 9 years tops. So WRYAT celebrates the local goverment and all it does for us.

Trees. They stand there and they see everything. They see kids playing in the street. They see cars go by. They even see where that one guy who runs in those short shorts goes. The guy isn't always running but everytime I've tried to follow him home, he eludes me. Like, why is he wearing sunglasses at night? What is his deal? I just want to know where a man like that lives. Why won't the trees tell me? Why won't the trees tell me his secrets?! Anywho, WRYAT takes a look at Arbor Day on this week's episode.

Ah, the spring is here. For 27 whole minutes, you can walk outside in your slick black jeans, wear a light top and feel the brisk air on your toes before the sun god Ra and that dumpster behind the burger place's bastard demi-god child rears their sweaty, muggy self and issues forth the reckoning of summer like no mortal should have to witness. Anywho, it's Easter or whatnot, and that means it's cool to eat whole eggs on the bus, it's the first and only time you probably will go to Mass, and it's time for us remember that we have Friday off. Wait, we do? Well thanks, Janet, for telling me now. Go listen to the podcast, I have to make some plans.

Oh boy, life sure can be hard. Just last week I was walking the dog and it started barking at a tree. What an idiot. Its a tree. It can't hear you or feel ashamed that you are calling it out for not being the man your mother was hoping for or the caring individual your dad could relate to. It's just a tree. It's not like the tree can look at its life and feel slightly bad for not applying its treeself more. Anywho, I have a lot to think about and a bag of dog mess to throw away. Boy oh boy, its been awhile. People have had kids, I know a dude who got married, and I took up my new pandemie project. Oh I call my pandemic projects pandemie projects now. Anywho, I took up collecting craft projects and I just clip out projects and print them out. I haven't built anything yet but you know, got to stay busy. So here's the deal, we have the best of season 5 here and it slaps, so go ahead and take an ear gander.

Fire. Brimstone. Putrid Smells. No, it's not Mardi Gras yet, it's the end times folks. Someone unleashed the old ones and the Big Easy is more like the Big Fire...Easy. So grab your tinfoil blankets and can of beans and get ready to face the inferno with WRYAT.

The age of wires and circuits are upon us. Bask in the light of hard drives and servos. WRYAT is looking to the future. A future where you mom doesn't think it is weird to hang out with an old guy who lives in a garage behind Arby's on the Westbank. A future where you can wake up at 2 a.m. to hang out with said old man and do experiments with a dog in a car. A future where Libya freely hands over plutonium to that same old dude who sleeps on a cot above said case of plutonium. One can dream and so can you as WRYAT explores Neo Orleans, the ability to talk to babies in the womb, and the future of crypto. 

To find someone that gets you is like finding a tater-tot at the bottom of your Arby's bag. You know there are supposed to be no tots there but it just showed up anyway. You are going to eat it cause you are a hungry little monster but you can't seem to shake the desire to know how that tater got into your bag. Relationships are a mystery and WRYAT is here to help. New Orleans is a town to visit. A town to get an Air BnB and walk around pretending to be a local. A town to take your shoes off and walk barefooted through the French Quarter and run your toes in the puddles of Bourbon St. WRYAT is here to help make your trip to this fine city one that will leave a lasting infection - I mean - impression. Sometimes we just think about all those times when the yesteryear was so much better than this year. We remember parties with friends and physical embraces. Hell, we haven't been hugged since 1997. Well it is kinda that time of year again where festivals reign supreme over your weekend plans. Where you can celebrate the mundane things you take for granted and build an entire festival around it, with food, music, and drunk friends telling you how many festivals they go to and how they love live music and how they don't actually go to bars to see live music because the festivals have the live music and who in their right mind would go to a rando bar uptown to discover a surf rock band or a string trio that could be their new favorite when there is so many cover bands at their fingertips as they sit on lawn chairs .... Sorry, got carried away. Anywho, WRYAT is back this week with all things festivals.

What is dead can never live. At WRYAT we take death very seriously and enjoy watching a soul leave someone's mouth as they pass on to the afterlife. Having been there ourselves, we know that it is like going to Olive Garden, delicious and filled with people who should not be eating there. Join us as we face death at the racetrack, review movies, and roast the dead on New Orleans' only radio station that dares stare death in the face for longer than any person should.

It's that time of year again to close your shutters, bring in your lawn chairs and lawn children, and hide in your windowless closet from the scary men of the Weather Channel. It is hurricane season again and we at WRYAT are prepping with our storm chickens and looking back at past hurricanes, preparing our boats, and surfing the spillway. Join us as we talk all things Hurricanes.

We know drugs as the thing we take to make headaches go away. We also know them as the thing that makes headaches really scary, like that time we thought we took some aspirin but instead it felt like there was noodles under our skin and Jimmy had to sit with us for a few hours till we were able to go back into his son's christening.
