Let's Talk About It With Jenny White/India is Living in a Coronavirus Nightmare!
Twenty-five families in India's capital Delhi woke up to the news on Friday morning that someone they loved had died in the city's Sir Ganga Ram hospital, reportedly because coronavirus patients could not get enough oxygen. The hospital's medical director said a severe shortfall had slowed the flow of oxygen to 25 of the sickest patients, who needed a high pressure stable supply. The tragedy came at the end of a week where several major hospitals in Delhi have repeatedly come close to running out of oxygen, which can help patients with the virus who need support with their breathing to stay alive. On Tuesday, it took a desperate public plea from the chief minister and an intervention from the high court for the Indian central government to organize a late night refill. An oxygen tanker eventually arrived at Sir Ganga Ram hospital on Friday morning, shortly after a dire warning that 60 more patients were on the verge of death.

A Brief Discussion on God and Politics -- The Parker J Cole Show
God and politics -- do I need to say more? In recent years, God and politics have become such volatile topics that even to mention one's political party is to, in the eyes and ears of 'the other' is to sum up that person's identity. Phrases like, "You can't be a Christian and a X" are thrown about with wild abandon -- as if God sits on the throne with an elephant or a donkey on either side of Him. How can we agree to disagree when the cancel culture, beating at the door, is quick to shut down anyone who does not agree with the majority? When do we as Christians reach out in love and say, "I may disagree with your stance, but you are still my brother and sister in Christ?" Or is it too late? Join me as I chat with Pastor Michael Campbell about God and politics on Saturday, May 8th at 2 pm Eastern time. Listen in at 646-668-8485. Download Stitcher on your mobile device. Let's Talk About It with Jenny / What is Cryptocurrency, and How Does It Work?
Digital currencies and the ledgers that hold the transactions offer much more freedom than government-backed currency but come with fewer protections. The inspiration for the whole system was avoiding bank fees and all the regulations that go along with organized financial institutions. The flip side of that coin is that there are endless opportunities for new solutions and no limits on creativity. How do you get started as a cryptocurrency investor? First, you'll need an account on a cryptocurrency exchange. These platforms allow you to buy, sell and hold virtual currency. Coinbase is one of the most well-known platforms. The company was founded in 2012, and went public in April via direct listing as opposed to a more traditional IPO. Some investment companies that offer traditional stock trading services also offer crytocurrency options. Once you've selected a trading platform, you'll need a wallet to store your virtual currency. These are "hot" wallets because they are always connected to the internet. Your other choice is a "cold" wallet. If your portfolio grows significantly, you can use both options and store the majority of your coins offline while keeping some amount in an online wallet to make trading easier.

The REIGN: Out of Tribulation -- Write Stuff -- 5/4/2021
Out of the end of the world as we know it, comes the beginning of the world we dreamed of and prayed for. In a small Iowa town, survivors of unprecedented global war and natural disasters set out to rebuild their lives. So much of what has happened in recent weeks defies explanation for the remnant of the resistance to the last Dictator, survivors of the last human war. Out of tribulation and loss, they stumble into a fresh breeze of hope that seems too good to be true. Yet, peace has fallen all around the world, and the new ruler in Jerusalem enforces that peace through an odd assortment of people spread over the Earth. Even the weather and wildlife have been transformed for the comfort of the remaining people. Could this be what the Christians looked forward to for millennia, the Kingdom of God come to Earth, the Reign of Jesus Christ? Even in the face of gracious prosperity, for the world and its inhabitants, the seeds have been planted for one last human revolt against God. Let's Talk About It with Jen/How many deaths by police since Chauvin's verdict?
Since Derek Chauvin has been found guilty on all counts, there has been a list of persons who have been killed by police: Ma'Khia Bryant, 16 was swinging a knife during a fight with another person in Columbus; on Wednesday morning, a deputy fatally shot and killed a Black man while serving a search warrant in eastern North Carolina. An eyewitness said that Andrew Brown Jr. was trying to drive away, and that deputies fired at him multiple times; in the San Diego suburb of Escondido, police said an officer fatally shot a man who was apparently striking cars with a metal pole. On Thursday, a funeral will be held for Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black motorist who was shot during a traffic stop this month in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, just a few miles from the courthouse as the Chauvin trial unfolded. In Chicago last month thirteen year old Adam Toledo was fatally shot less than a sexond after he tossed a gun and began raising his hands as an officer had commanded. Kim Potter, a white police officer, has been charged with second-degree manslaughter in Wright's shooting. The former police chief said Potter mistakenly fired her handgun when she meant to use her Taser; Potter resigned from the force afterward. Anthony J. Thompson, Jr, 17, in Tennessee, was shot dead in a high school bathroom by officers responding to a report of a student with a gun. During a scuffle with officers in the restroom, the student's gun went off, and officers fired twice. On average, three people per day have been killed by law enforcement since testimony against Chauvin had begun.

**SPECIAL EDITION OF WRITE STUFF** -- The Search for Rest with Bob Santos
Peace. It is so sweet, so rich, so meaningful. We are not just talking about an absence of conflict, but a quality of life that stretches the limits of our comprehension. Such a depth of peace and rest is elusive in our world, but it is normal for the God who created us. For those who are at peace with God, simply experiencing His presence is enough to calm our anxious souls. Because peace and rest begin with God, it is no surprise that this world is so full of unrest. The mindsets, systems, and expectations that so naturally define our human existence, at nearly every turn, hinder the richness of peace that flows from the kingdom of heaven. The Search for Rest is a fifty-day devotional designed to help us adjust to God's ways. Each daily reading includes an inspirational quote, Bible passages to read, an instructive lesson, questions for group use, and a practical "Peace Step" to help you apply the principles involved. Reading this book comes with no guarantee for total life transformation. But if you take its contents to heart, and if you make a genuine effort to follow through on what you learn, you will come away changed. Simply take things one day at a time, with one step after another, and the peace, freedom, and joy that you have always longed for will become more and more and more your reality. Failure is not the Problem -- The Parker J Cole Show **REBROADCAST**
**REBROADCAST** What is one of the number fears most people experience? The fear of failure. This is the second book in a series focusing on failure, which is designed to accompany my initial book on failure; Failure Is Not The Problem, It’s The Beginning Of Your Success. I specifically wrote this workbook to help ease the pain of reading about failure. This workbook is intended as a read along with my initial book. The topic of failure is not a subject people tend to embrace without some coaching. Therefore, use the workbook as a personal guide to challenge you as you embark on what may be unfamiliar territory. George Milton has written a workbook which includes a 12 Step program structured on how to change your mindset regarding “FAILURE” From Negative to Positive. Following these steps, if obeyed with consistency can propel you to move from where you are to where you are meant to be. Enjoy this rebroadcast of an inspiring conversation with George Milton and I as we talked about success and failure on Saturday, April 24th at 2 PM Eastern time. Let's Talk About It with Jenny White/ The Reason I Decided To Take The Vaccine
In the beginning, I was adament about not taking the vaccine because I was healthy and didn't feel that I needed it. What one person was worried about was complications and believed that some people were having life-threatening reactions to the vaccine that the media wasn't reporting. A recent poll found that one in four Americans said they would refuse a coronavirus vaccine outright if offered. Some researchers are increasingly worried that this reticence will be enough to prevent the nation from reaching what's known as "herd immunity" (when a large part of the population of an area is immune to a specific disease). This provides indirect protection of the population of those who are not vaccinated. Reaching high levels of vaccination would mean new outbreaks of the coronavirus would die down quickly, as opposed to growing and spreading.

Judgment Of The Nephilim -- Write Stuff -- 4/20/2021
Six thousand years ago a war began. A war to rule Heaven and Earth that dates all the way back to the Garden of Eden. In the Garden, God told Satan that one day a woman would give birth to a male child – the Messiah, who would redeem humanity and destroy him. In order to prevent this child’s birth, Satan instigated a fallen angelic rebellion. Using a literal reading of Scripture, we are given a complete picture of the war between two bloodlines – the lineage of the Messiah and the seed of Satan. Exploring passages rarely connected to the giants, you will discover new revelations regarding the Nephilim including: The Biblical location of the heavenly portal used by angels to enter the earthly realm. How were angels able to reproduce with human women? Who was the first human woman to marry the fallen Sons of God and conceive a child? Who was the fallen angel who ruled the preflood world? Wait! There's many more! Citing dozens of ancient Christian and Jewish writings from the first century AD through the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, the author provides a thorough side-by-side comparison of the Bible and the extra-Biblical texts on this topic. This book is a must-read! This is the story of God’s enduring love for all people and His promise to bring redemption through the prophesied Savior. This is the Judgment of the Nephilim. I've talked about the Nephilim before using the vehicle of fiction but today, we're taking a non-ficiton approach with my guest cohost Ryan Pitterson on Tuesday, April 20th at 7 pm Eastern time. "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required." Leia Hamilton can move things and set them on fire with her mind. Leia's father and step-mother tried to hide their past: a time when they were part of a team of superheroes. In the diverse world of human and superhuman, heroes and villains, friends and enemies, some of Leia's choices have terrible consequences. Let's Talk About It With Jenny/Why does the U.S have so many mass shootings?
When the world looks at the United States they are puzzled by the many mass shootings. Some speculate that American society is unusually violent. Or its racial divisions have frayed the bonds of society. Or its citizens lack proper mental care under a health care system that draws frequent derision abroad. Americans make up about 4.4% of the global population but own 42% of the world's guns. From 1966 to 2012, 31% of the gunmen in mass shoots worldwide were American, according to a 2015 study by a professor at the University of Alabama. Adjusted for population, only Yemen has a higher rate of mass shootings among countries with more than 10 million people. Yemen has the world's second-highest rate of gun ownership after the United States. If mental health made the difference, the data would show that Americans have more mental health problems than people in other countries with fewer mass shootings.

What Does it Mean to Have Child-like Faith? -- The Parker J Cole Show
I had a young girl on my show in recent weeks who invigorated my spirit. She was twelve years old and had already starred in a music video, spoken in front of the masses, wrote a book, and was just getting started. As she talked to me on her show, her family and friends called in, supporting her, encouraging her, and uplifting her. Interviewing her as I did, I felt the power of her child-like faith like physical touch. I thought I knew what it meant to have child-like faith until I met her. Or, maybe I had forgotten. Through her faith, my own increased. It calls to mind the verse in Luke 18:10 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. I had another young man on my show a few years ago. He said, "You're never too young to begin your dream." At the time, he was about fifteen or sixteen years old. His dream was to be a TV broadcaster. He'd written a book, appeared on TV, and was just getting started. He's about twenty or twenty-one years old now. He has a TV show, he's reported on local news, interviewed political candidates and more. I noticed with him that his parents also guided his path, supporting him. Over the years, I've rooted for his success and am so pleased to see where the Lord will lead him. Both young people had child-like faith. So what do we mean by it? Let's Talk About It with Jenny/Domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic
You can't make decisions for others, but you can make sure they have your support. Intimate partner violence, a more inclusive term than domestic violence, is a form of abuse aimed at gaining power or control over another. It can include physical, sexual, and emotional, or financial abuse, or a combination of all the above. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 1 in 4 women in the United States have experienced physical intimate partner violence. UN Women has referred to violence against women during COVID-19 as the "shadow pandemic" lurking in the background as healthcare systems are drained and shelters are at capacity. During a period when everyone is struggling to adjust to the rapid changes due to COVID-19, it's critical that we learn more about intimate partner violence, its red flags, and how to support survivors. The Warning Signs of Abuse: withdrawing from others and making excuses not to see friends or family or do activities they once enjoyed; seeming anxious around their partner or afraid of their partner; having frequent bruises or infuries they lie about or can't explain; having limited access to money, credit cards or a car; showing an extreme change in personality; getting frequent calls from a significant other checking up on them; having a partner who has a temper, is easily jealous or very possessive; and clothing that could be hiding bruises, like long-sleeved shirts in the summer.

The Risen King -- The Parker J Cole Show
An atheist asked me once what would make me leave the Christian faith. The way that's worded indicates a set of values' suggesting Christianity is one of many sets of an adherence to a code of life. Religion is a man-made way of getting to God. The whole of them rest on a set of values and rules. Many people have erred in making Christianity a set of do's and don'ts. So, really, the question the atheist asked is what would make me abandon God? A believer's' faith rests on the person of the resurrected Christ. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, as the apostle Paul said, we would be the most miserable of people. For we would still be seperated from God, still bound by sin, still condenmed. If Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead, if He were still in the tomb, then we have no hope or any chance of rescue. Thanks be God that Christ is risen and lives forevermore. Through a living God, we are forgiven. We are encompassed by a love that will never grow dull. That will remain vibrant forever. It's the reason why the apostle Paul says in Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Notice the word 'living'. We don't have to die--Christ did already. Not only did He die for our sins but He rose again. Because He lives, we have power over a sinful nature. We can fight against an enemy who seeks to destroy us. But wait! There's more! Join me as I chat with Linda and Rich Nathan on Saturday, April 3rd at 2 pm Eastern time.
