WWE Raw: January 8, 1996
Despite the wishes of friends, family, and doctors, we’re doing this show anyway! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys are treated to some matches featuring Goldust, Aldo Montoya, “Double J” Jeff Jarrett, and Hakushi. Shawn Michaels has a press conference, and Brother Love brings out Ted Dibiase to introduce his newest acquisition: the Ringmaster. Vignettes from Vader and the Undertaker with Paul Bearer look great, but the Jobber of the Week did not!

1, 641, double-zero, hut, hut, hut! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get subjected to the Raw Bowl, an 8-man tag match with a special football gimmick- and it’s the first match of 1996. With talent involved like Sycho Sid, Razor Ramon, Yokozuna, and the Smoking Gunns, the Raw Bowl is everything that it claimed it would be… and more! Also, King Mabel makes a brief appearance, Diesel gets the spoils, and Royal Rumble entrants are announced. Touchdown!

WWE: 1995 Year In Review
It’s finally over! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look back at what they’ve seen in 1995 - a year that is often referred to as one of the worst in wrestling history. Topics for this episode include the Match of the Year, the Jobber of the Year, Wrestling Observer Awards, the highlights and lowlights of 1995, and what everyone is looking forward to in 1996. Tune in and listen to the boys put an end to one of the most notorious years in wrasslin’, and get ready for 1996!

Goldust is just androgynous, right? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys check out the final Monday Night Raw of 1995! “Double J” Jeff Jarrett returns in a match against Make a Difference Fatu, Buddy Landel surprises everyone (but not in the way one might think), and the only thing more homoerotic than Goldust’s psychological warfare against Razor Ramon is Vince McMahon’s “Say it Isn’t So” tribute to Shawn Michaels. In typical fashion, 1995 hits us in the ass with the door on our way out!

WWE: In Your House 5
The Smoking Gunns are here to deliver presents! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the final Pay Per View of 1995, In Your House 5. Matches featuring Henry Godwin, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the British Bulldog, and Bret “the Hitman” Hart all deliver, but the booking falls short with Buddy Landel and Ahmed Johnson. The Undertaker’s Casket Match with King Mabel continues to disappoint and enrage, but on the plus side, hopefully King Mabel and Sir Mo got sent straight to hell!

How much brutality can you fit into one episode? In this installment of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys are subjected to a master class of stiff work and botches, with Aja Kong brutally destroying Chaparita Asari, and Ahmed Johnson manhandling a former Jobber of the Week. We’re given an excellent match between Owen Hart and Jobber Jeff Hardy, and (to nobody’s surprise) a not-so-excellent match between Bob Backlund and Bret “The Hitman” Hart. The infectious disease is gonna getcha!

Welcome to Doc’s Cocaine Jam! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, things get a bit confusing when the boys are confronted with more booking reruns between Bob Backlund and Bret Hart, as well as the Undertaker and King Mabel. Vince McMahon takes his ‘living vicariously through Shawn Michaels’ to the next level, and Jason has a special surprise up his sleeve. There might be a lack of wrasslin’ here, but the good news is that Shawn Michaels is officially brain damaged!

We don’t need no Mo no mo! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at a generally poor showing of Monday Night Raw, filled with questionable decisions- such as: should Dean Douglas be pushed into this match with Ahmed Johnson? Why is Brother Love here? Why is Marty Jannetty getting so much action? Who thought that the crowd would be satisfied with the Undertaker wrestling Sir Mo? This, and the definition of “shmoo,” on this week’s episode!

Somebody really needs to sign Earl Hebner up for CPR training! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys dig into a spectacular episode of Monday Night Raw. The 1-2-3 Kid and Hakushi go at it, Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart have a red-hot match that does not disappoint, and Diesel surprises us all by cutting a promo that lights up the past 8 months. Jason gets chastised by a listener, and Skip gets cuckolded… anything can happen on Wrasslin’ Raw!

WWE: Survivor Series 1995
The burial of Bam Bam Bigelow isn’t the only disturbing thing in his match with Goldust! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the 1995 Survivor Series Pay-Per-View, and get some pleasant surprises from an early 4-on-4, the return of the Undertaker, and one of the best Diesel matches ever. Wrasslin’ Raw also debuts its new segment, “Did You Get Your Money’s Worth?”, while keeping with star ratings and a numbers breakdown. Just ignore the parts with President Clinton!

Who would have thought that the 1-2-3 Kid needed five bucks that bad? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys dig into the go-home Raw that leads to Survivor Series ‘95. Diesel’s on-camera speaking skills jump from 0-60, Henry O. Godwinn and Hunter Hearst Helmsley continue their rivalry, and Ahmed Johnson makes his in-ring debut. Sycho Sid surprises us with some decent wrasslin’, and King Mabel maintains expectations with a bad match. Wait, Vince McMahon playing Karate Fighters? WHOAAAA!

A thousand madcaps for two cents per madcap? WHOAAA! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get to take a look at a pretty good squash match featuring Henry O. Godwin and Ryan’s Jobber of the Week, a not-so-good squash match featuring Kama, and more Marty Jannetty than Joe and Manitoba should have to handle. Vince McMahon gives us previews of upcoming matches, complete with spoilers, and Barry Horowitz goes full poindexter. Watch those busy hands, Horowitz!

What’s scarier than a close-up of Todd Pettingzoo’s face? Ahmed Johnson’s chiropractor bills after bodyslamming Yokozuna! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get spooky with the Halloween ‘95 edition of Monday Night Raw, with scary topics like the undead career of Marty Jannetty, and the zombie-like conflicts between Bret Hart, Jerry “The King'' Lawler, and Isaac Yankem, DDS. Ryan’s Jobber of the Week is a Wrasslin’ Raw favorite, and so is this episode’s finish!

Wrasslin' Raw: The One About Jack Tunney
Wrasslin’ Raw threatened, and Wrasslin’ Raw delivers! Special circumstances prevented the usual episode format of Wrasslin’ Raw, so the boys decided to bust out the oft-mentioned and near-legendary Jack Tunney episode. As the age of Gorilla is coming into its full bloom, let’s just briefly remember the Most Useless Name in Wrestling: Jack Tunney!

Wait, what’s that, what’s that back there Vince? It’s Wrasslin’ Raw! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get some stark reminders of how low things can get. The 20-man battle royale, the debut of Al Snow as ‘Avatar,’ and the WWF Women’s Championship match between Alundra Blayze and Bertha Faye are all on the card for a night of mediocrity. Don’t let that get you down though, because there’s a crazy interview with hobo Shawn Michaels, and the amazing return of a Wrasslin’ Raw favorite!

WWE: In Your House 4
Kids, do you want Bret Hart, in your room at night, watching you sleep? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys dig into the In Your House 4 Pay Per View, one of the most criticized Pay Per Views ever broadcasted. There are duds like Yokozuna vs King Mabel, some near-hits like the Goldust debut (but not his match with Marty Jannetty), and a spectacular tag match with the Smoking Gunns vs. Razor Ramon and the 1-2-3 Kid. Pulling down the ropes? WHAT A MANEUVER!

Ignoring the stipulations to your own bullshit gimmick is the KEY to success! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys are once again struck by the lack of excitement in the matches, and also the lack of excitement for the go-home into In Your House 4. Despite matches featuring Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Bret “The Hitman'' Hart, the news regarding the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels is more interesting than anything happening in the ring. We all need Sunny to nurse us back to health!

There’s a second, smaller podcast being dangled above this one! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys come up short on material to talk about- there wasn’t much provided to begin with. The two matches in this episode of Monday Night Raw were full of star power, featuring talents like the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Diesel, and others… but the rest of the episode was all filler and no thriller. If you hit Fatu on the head, he’ll dance- you IDIOT!

We don’t have permission to include the names of certain charities… oh well! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get treated to another great match between Bret Hart and Jean-Pierre Lafitte, and some confusing storytelling between Razor Ramon and the 1-2-3 Kid. While Hunter Hearst Helmsly and Barry Horowitz are professionals at selling, Doc Hendrix is not. But let us know what you think by calling the 1-900-Shameless poll... tomorrow, we get the verdict from the jury, but tonight, we get the verdict from you!

No wrestlers were injured during the course of the Marty Jannetty match! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys are treated to multiple servings of the Two Dudes with Attitude, which only serves to enhance the viewing experience… just kidding! There’s a great Tag Team Championship match where even Yokozuna looks decent, the Undertaker and British Bulldog have what starts as a great match, and even Marty Jannetty shows up to wrassle. Unfortunately, the Two Dudes with Attitude showed up too!
