Heroes of the Storm launched all over the world, and Toro has a big report for you on how Launch Event went in Sydney. Including review of Johanna the Crusader Hero, complexities of in-game Matchmaker, Design of Battlegrounds, future of E-Sports in ANZ region, and a very open and insightful QnA session. ALSO ON THIS EPISODE - a brief word on Live QnA with Ion Hazzikostas being pushed back 1 week, showing nothing but continuation of a very flawed and shortsighted communications policy WoW Development and PR streams of Blizzard decided to stick to. Very disappointing, but has to be covered.

No regular show this week - sorry everyone. I feel that theres insufficient amount of news in Blizzard space worthy of rambling about for an hour. Also, going forward, the show becomes FORTNIGHTLY, i.e. will be released every 2 weeks - not every week. Twitter cleanup started happening as well - there is nothing to worry about if you are being civil and respectful, rather than blind and almost deliberately aggravating.

This week Patch 6.2 background downloader started, indicating that Patch is about 2-3 weeks away from hitting Live servers. Ion Hazzikostas gives another interview, crushing everyones hopes to get flying back. Dev Watercooler talks about improvements to Personal Loot. Heroes of the Storm Open Beta starts with lag and other minor unpleasantries. And Toro shares his review of Mad Max: Fury Road movie.

Happy Mothers Day, all the geeky mums out there! On this reasonably happy, yet still straight-shooting and unapologetic episode Toro will briefly touch on the inevitable topic of WoW sub loss numbers, and what it means for the game and Blizzard (spoiler alert: NOT MUCH!) Then we will talk about Building ships and sending them on missions in 6.2, which is looking pretty promising! And in conclusion, we will review promised Hero changes in the upcoming Heroes of the Storm patch. Enjoy!

This was a MEGA week for all sorts of news, including WoW PTR 6.2 going up, lots of data-mining, PvP Dev QnA with Brian Holinka happening, Hearthstone becoming available on phones, and Toro playing more of Heroes of the Storm... Impossible to fit all those news into one episode, giving it all justice it deserves. So this episode focuses on the main news - PTR 6.2 notes, where Toro expresses his excitement, disappointment, hopes, and all sort of related rambles that you are hopefully used to by now! Enjoy! ;)

This week Toro spent a lot of time playing Heroes of the Storm, trying out different Heroes and recording several gameplay commentary videos which are now available on WoW Alt Gaming YouTube channel. Also - first impressions of SMITE, a differently flavored MOBA which definitely deserves attention, but has its own problems, which are mostly in confusing and overwhelming game UI. WoW still has no major news to discuss, aside from another money-grabbing system Blizzard throws into the pot at our expense - the WOW TOKEN. Toro is not pulling any punches here, as he never does... Enjoy!

On this episode Toro explains his decision to stop paying for something he does not enjoy anymore - cancelling his WoW sub, for now... VOTE WITH YOUR MONEY, GUYS!! Also, proper discovery of MOBAs, starting to spend more and more time in Heroes of the Storm, and taking a few first steps in SMITE. Diablo gearing process is also continuing, but is on slow burner, as Heroes appears to be Toros new addiction - who knows for how long though?

Lack of WoW news aside from LFR Blackhand becoming available, and some uninteresting WoW Token related polls popping up on MMO-Champion website. Lots of DIABLO excitement, and recommended fresh level 70 Witch Doctor build, focused on poisons, pets, and the fun of dishing out damage while surviving the onslaught of Torment 1!

This week in WoW we saw ilevel boost released for BRF Raid, and a few other high level rewards. Crude PvP fixes were made and then rolled back. Revenue breakdown for some leading subscription-based MMO games was posted, and we are taking a quick look at it. And finally bored Toro re-discovered Diablo, and kept levelling his new Witch Doctor, who proves to be heaps of fun so far, and delivers on all levels!... Please enjoy the usual rambles, and more.

BlizzCon 2015 is announced and the whole community is excited! Toro has his predictions for what is likely to happen there! Also WORLD OF WARSHIPS is entering closed Beta, and Toro is personally super excited, even though no Beta invite just yet :( Insight into World of TANKS - the previous product of Wargaming.Net - the developer of WoWarships. Toro announces further focus on WoW Alt Gaming YouTube channel, as proving to have reached broader audience and simply funneling the efforts in a direction that seems to be working better.
