Unboxing Instant Tea || Talking with Cusa Tea
Don't go grabbing the loose leaf just yet, there is more than meets the eye here.  Jim Lamacusa, the founder of Cusa Tea, was kind enough to send us their whole product line of premium instant teas to review. We'll admit we were cynical of the claim "premium" but came around after hearing the amount of effort and innovation that went into developing this product. This week all you'll need to do is add water as we jump into instant tea. PATREON - FACEBOOK - TWITTER - INSTAGRAM

From Tea Hater to Tea Lover || 3 Leaf Tea
Sitting down with Luciana, proprietor of 3 Leaf Tea, we come to learn how one's distaste for tea can change in a single cup. Now operating her own store, Luciana sells flavorful matcha blends to her customers. Being able to relate her own experiences to those faced by her customers is a sign of great care and consideration. Tea can be full of hurdles for someone trying to learn about it. It does the industry well to have people like Luciana to spread the love.

An Interview with Teforia
The Teforia has been getting some critical press around the internet. Some good and some well, not so good. During the World Tea Expo 2017 we were able to meet with Teforia's inventor, Allen Han, and discuss the device from tip to stem. Boasting a sleek design and seamless interface hides the fact that both the Teforia Leaf and the Teforia Classic both host some impressive technology. The price tag reflects this, but as our podcast goes to show, there is something to be said about one man's passion for perfection.

The Tea Explorer || An Interview with Director Andrew Gregg
The world of tea is indeed rich with people, cultures, and history. Today on the podcast I am fortunate to have director Andrew Gregg join me to discuss the upcoming documentary, The Tea Explorer. Premiering on July 23rd, 2017 at 9pm EST. The Tea Explorer follows self-proclaimed tea-junkie Jeff Fuchs along the ancient Tea Horse Road from Yunnan, China into Shangri-La, and eventually Lhasa, the Kali Gandaki Gorge, and finally Kathmandu. Throughout the journey, we learn about the importance of this forgotten trade route, the people along it, the places founded because of it, and how a simple leaf can be so influential.    Special thanks to: Andrew Gregg, Director of The Tea Explorer David McCaughna, Publicist for the Rick Mercer Report Michelle Pierce Hamilton, beTeas & the Tea Lounge    If you enjoy the podcast and have a craving for great tea, consider supporting us on Patreon for more of both!   Be sure to check out the following for more information on The Tea Explorer: Jeff Fuchs' Blog The Tea Explorer Trailer on the CBC       Music Credit: http://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music

Also this week, we have the 150th celebration of Sri Lankan tea, in Scotland. Turns out the man who gave Ceylon a tea market is none other than a James Taylor from Mearns.
