End of Bear Season, Fall Hunting Prep, Beginner Reloading
My second spring bear hunt of the season ended up being rather short. After a fast and light approach through a high mountain pass, I was able to find a couple bears within the first hour or so of hunting. This episode covers the events of this second bear hunt of the spring for me, and details some new gear that I used on the trip including the Stone Glacier sky 5900 and the Outdoor Research Alpine Bivy.The second half of this episode I spent talking about the basic reloading equipment and techniques I have learned over the past couple years for precision rifle shooting. The waters are quite cloudy when it comes to reloading, and it can be an overwhelming topic to get started in. In reality, the idea is quite simple, but the consistency is what takes time and technique to develop.
