S4E1: Scorpion, Part 2
Meredith can have a little Seven of Nine, as a treat. Season 4 of Voyager kicks off with a fantastic episode, and Season 4 of this podcast kicks off with new art and a new theme song! Wow! What a glow-up!

S3E26: Scorpion, Pt. 1
We did it, Meredith! Three seasons of Voyager; three seasons of women talking about it. And we open with the Borg! Gasp!! In our opening tangents we chat about Sam's latest artistic venture, sleep hygiene, and gooseberries. Also, this episode features a reference to unseen Voyager crewmember Ensign Hickman!! Excellent stuff. Thanks for joining us for these last three seasons. We'll be back in two weeks with the first episode of Season 4. Meredith, we hope you're as excited as we are.

S3E25: Worst Case Scenario
Happy Pride! Today we have a tiny bit of ASMR for you and 'where am I?' redux. This episode of Voyager is a fun one! Enjoy, Meredith! We love you! It's summertime, let's wrap it up Even though you are on PrEP It won't protect from syphilis Let's wrap it up Let's wrap it up Let's wrap wrap wrap wrap wrap it up (our new Pride anthem)

Where am I?! Imprisoned in an alien ship? Or trapped in a poorly-constructed will-they-won't-they? In this episode, it's both!! Oh boy, we were all over the place in this one. We love you, Meredith!

S3E23: Distant Origin
In the opening tangent, we discuss Kat's personal history with the name Meredith. Also, Sam's TV appearance is coming up! Listen for details! This is a world-building episode for the Star Trek canon, and it's not necessarily the kind of episode we tend to enjoy talking about. We were not at our most energetic for this one. Also, there's more UK local and devolved election chat in this episode; this time, it's even less timely! Kat would like to apologise for forgetting entirely that there were also elections in Scotland and Northern Ireland. In my partial defence, in the last episode I forgot about England too. Cymru am byth ac ati ac ati. Thanks for listening, we love you Meredith!

S3E22: Real Life
Hi, Meredith! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! In this episode, B'ELANNA HAS AN UNEXPLAINED SINGLE SIDE BRAID. We made it, team! We are all over the place this episode. We talk about the Senedd election in Wales, which took place after we recorded but before you're seeing this. Ooh, the future. Then there's a chat about unexplained side braids that is not to be missed! And then we talked about The Sims. There is a lot to like about this episode of Voyager, and when we finally got into it we had a good time! Hopefully, you will enjoy listening! Rate and subscribe! XOXO

S3E21: Before and After
It's Adam and Steve, not Adam and Back Sack. This episode of Voyager is interesting, complex, well-acted, and not a lot of fun for us to talk about on this particular day in our lives. Kat hates timeline nonsense because it's not REAL! Sam loves shenanigans. Kat is sorry for: mic noise, chair noise, echo in the last episode, and her general poor mood. Sam is sorry for: nothing, she's perfect.

S3E20: Favorite Son
This episode! Oh boy! It has everything: transatlantic accents, bondage, percussion instruments, drugs, a wedding, murder by full-body desiccation. Everything! Live, laugh, love, space travel. Thank you for listening, Meredith! XOXO

'He's an exogeneologist, she's a Klingon with a heart of gold. Together, they're: Brace for Impact!' In our opening tangent we discuss A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) and people and characters named Monica. Speaking of names, did you know it's called TK Maxx in the UK and TJ Maxx in the US? Bombshell, we know. We did not enjoy this episode of Voyager. This is a Neelix episode, and we are a little bit unfocussed, as per usual (a note from Kat from the future: by the time we recorded S3E20, I needed a LOT of memory-jogging from Sam to even remember what 'Rise' was about). Who's YOUR favourite sibling?! Thank you for listening! We love you, Meredith!

Hello, Meredith! Have you missed us? In this episode we talk about Drag Race circa early February, fabric orders, Vidal Sassoon, Muppets Most Wanted (2014), and the mirror universe. Also, we have a brief period of technical difficulties that I (Kat) think is VERY funny so I left it in, you're welcome. Anyway, on Voyager Lord Byron and Ghandi are talking about sex. Yikes. This is a Kes and The Doctor episode! Apparently Kes and Neelix have canonically broken up by this point, although neither of us remembered that. In general, continuity was a different concept in the 90s. B'Elanna had ONE, SMALL, salad. Kes goes on a date in a Christmas tree farm. Trees LOVE to grow places. The Doctor is evil?!?! Oh no!! Have YOU ever been pushed into a hole? Let us know on the Twitter or Instagram! Thanks for listening, we love you Meredith! Rate and subscribe Xxx

Justice for Ensign Caplan! Today the women discuss half-term, robes, and Sam's lipstick. Kat tells a long story about Fenella. On Voyager, it's the Borg! But not?? Oh wow! Freaky Borg sex!! Also, Sam has a lot to say about The Meg (2018), and Kat has a little to say about Discovery. Want to help people affected by the extreme weather in Texas and other parts of the US South? S3E16: Blood Fever
CONTENT NOTE: This episode includes discussion of sexual assault. Deeply problematic views of sexual assault and harassment in the workplace! Mysterious aliens! Pon Farr! Pon Farr but make it Klingon! Neelix getting injured! A land nebula! The Borg?!?!?! This is an episode where Things Happen. Some of the things are very bad! But we make the controversial argument that some of the things are not bad. It's a complicated episode! Of Voyager, and of this podcast. There are a lot of 'works cited' in this episode: Jarrah Hodge's review of this episode on Trekkie Feminist Michelle Erica Green’s review on TrekToday Darren Mooney's review on the M0vie Blog Keith R.A. DeCandido's review on Tor

This week, we punch up a joke LIVE and in REAL TIME! You're so welcome. We have a special guest appearance by Fenella, who is almost always present for our recordings but only rarely so loud. We tease a new segment, and then we forget to actually start doing it. Sam recently saw The Prestige (2006) and she has thoughts. This podcast is about Star Trek: Voyager, and you are all very lucky that it exists.

THE PROM PARIS: A Christmas Bonus Episode!
Why is our Christmas special about The Prom (2020), which is not a Christmas movie? I don't know, what is time? One of us loved The Prom, and one of us hated it. It's the Tom Paris of this season's Netflix offerings! The Prom Paris! We had a lot of fun recording this, it's fun when we disagree but fundamentally agree! Happy Holidays, everyone, and a huge thank you for listening! See you in 2021! Outro music: Hyacinth, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons

S3E13: Fair Trade
Alas, Mr Tuvok, I sleep alone. This week we discuss sweet potato pie, DARE (Drug And violence Resistance Education - what an acronym), Christian covers of pop music, an iconic story about Bea Arthur and Tallulah Bankhead, Sam having a much better plan for the structure of this episode, and by the way this is a Neelix episode. Thank you for listening!

We recorded this at the end of October, truly a different time, and Kat was in a terrible mood, oh boy! One of our most unfocused episodes yet, maybe consider starting at about 21 minutes in. Because before that we spend a huge amount of time talking about Wales’s firebreak lockdown, now a distant memory, and Halo Top, and an extremely minor thing about Wales’ covid response that Kat was terrified would destroy our reputation on the world stage, but which in fact everyone has already forgotten about (including me, Kat, until I edited this!). And then, this episode of voyager is about a horrifying deadly virus, a series of international diplomacy incidents, and a race for a vaccine. Yeesh! Thanks for listening everyone! We mention Lauren Busser’s startrek.com article about Macrocosm and Covid-19: https://startrek.com/news/voyagers-macrocosm-is-a-covid-19-cautionary-tale

S3E11: The Q and the Grey
Welcome to Transatlantic Dames: a Star Trek Voyager Recap Podcast Composed Entirely of Tangents. This is a Q episode, and it's also about the US Civil War, yikes! As is tradition, we recorded this many weeks ago, so enjoy the strange liminal space of early October 2020. We talk about the Life in the UK test and other immigration issues, the Mad About You/Friends cinematic universe, the English Civil War, neti pot safety (boil the water first, let cool before using), 80s workout fashion, and the story behind our podcast photo. Chaos reins supreme in Jurasic World! CAW! Thank you for listening!

[Content note: This episode raises some issues around sex and consent that we discuss throughout, but mainly from 31.30-33.45 and around 50 min. Body snatching: a sci-fi trope with unexpected (to Kat at least) implications!] Joining you from Lockdown II: Electric Boogaloo, it's Sam and Kat! We recorded this episode in September, and we opened by talking about lockdown, which Wales went back into this week in real time. Spooky! Happy Halloween?
