Jonathan in many ways shows us what a true friend is like and a healthy godly friendship. The editor speaking for a moment: I have a dear friend like this, who encourages me in the Lord and listens to me, and prays for me (and say hey don't be doing that  and other corrections. I tell you of all my friendships this one is the most cherished, why? Because Christ is the focus, center and goal. We see this kind of friend in Jonathan. 

Where has God called you to serve Him and spread the Gospel? Is it a foreign field or just simply going to your community,  your family and friends,  or workplace? Whatever He calls you to do, remember the main thing is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and what He has done in your life. Don't just give them Bible. Show people what Christ has done in your life. We may be the only Bible anyone will ever read. Christ says we can always come to Him just as we are. We don't fix ourselves by ourselves. We must allow Him to change us. He loves us and wants a relationship with us. So come to Him just as you are.
