Who F**ken Knows is a podcast where three friends (a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead) discuss conspiracy theories, unsolved murders, and unexplainable phenomena. We drink, we think, and we choose topics that undoubtedly leave us asking ourselves "Who F**ken Knows?" IN THIS EPISODE:In this episode, Taylor talks about Danny Casolaro, a journalist who possibly knew too much. Lexy tells the ladies about an attempted murder inspired by Slender Man. Angela dives into mysterious radio stations used by spies to communicate. TAYLOR’S STORYDanny CasolaroOn August 10, 1991, 44 year old investigative reporter Danny Casolaro was found dead in his hotel room. His wrists were slashed, and a suicide note was found in the room as well. But this story is not what it seems. Danny was wrapped up in a number of government and political scandals, and it was thought that he had the information to expose many important people. So, was Danny’s death a suicide? Or a murder to keep him from sharing government secrets…
LEXY’S STORY:Slender Man The most recent generation is one that grew up on the internet. That being said, some of the most notorious monsters in recent times were created on the web. Slender Man is an urban legend that went viral, and is still very much alive online. Legend has it, he stalks humans, has a missing face, and slender, tentacle like arms. He even inspired two young girls to attempt to stab their classmate to death…
ANGELA’S STORY:Numbers StationsNumbers stations are shortwave radio stations that have dumfounded listeners for years. A numbers station is an unregistered, illegal radio broadcast set to a specific frequency that is designed to transmit secret information to spies or other operatives in the field through sophisticated codes, and utilizing everything from voices, buzzes, beeps, clicks, and other noises, to Morse code, sound clips from TV programs or movies, and music. To the average listener stumbling across one of these stations it may appear that it is all just noise and nonsense, but to a spy in the field it all makes perfect sense. If a citizen tunes into a numbers station, hears a load of gibberish, and changes the channel, then the station is doing its job well.
