Should We Move To Africa?: A Response to (Rapper) The Game's Social Media Post
A brief discussion on how tempting it is to want to move to Africa, simply because life is significantly harder in America. I discuss the post, emotions tied to having to parent while black and the reality of actually deciding to move. This is an important topic but one that also acts as a trigger and reminder that our daily lives are sometimes affected by the prejudices and racism of others. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/white-world-black-mom/support

The single mother experience for only a few days?
There is something fishy about saying you have had the single parent experience after temporarily being without your partner. Why do so many people make reference to being a single mom on social media after their husband has been away for a business trip. It rubs me the wrong way when I see or hear something like that because it feels like it is diminishing power from an actual single parent to define their experience themselves. Am I too far off beat with this one? I would love to hear your comments about this so I can continue this into part 2 of the discussion. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/white-world-black-mom/support
