Mary Dixie Carter
Please welcome #MaryDixieCarter, author, “The Photographer,” to our show today. When I first spoke with Mary by phone, we connected right away. A mom, journalist, and writer, she is deeply curious. I found #ThePhotographer fascinating because Mary Dixie got the idea to write this book after a real-life photo shoot with her daughters, and what transpired after that brought up thoughts that so many of us have, like being accepted, the many expectations of women in society, and just how far would we go to fit in? And we get into all of that on our show. As an aside, Mary Dixie is the daughter of one of my favorite actresses, #DixieCarter of #DesigningWomen, and step daughter to #HalHolbrook. Let’s just say there’s A LOT to talk about in our interview, so please join us for this fascinating conversation, and leave any questions here, too. LIVE on all video and audio platforms.

Are you cranky, or do you live with someone cranky? Then you’ll love our guest, author Steven Joseph, who wrote, “A Grownup Guide To Effective Crankiness: The CrankaTsurius Method.” To be honest, when I saw the title, I thought of my husband, #JohnKobylt, so I had to learn more. Essentially, the book is about Steven’s journey into finding ways to control his inner cranky, and he’s found a fun and fascinating way to do it, and he goes through it chapter by chapter. I spoke with Steven before our interview and found him to be incredibly self-aware and funny, and his methods to be easy for anyone to navigate in this book. And while I left it on my husband’s nightstand to take a look, the book is for anyone, male or female, looking to work through their inner cranky to make life a easier. Please join us on #DeborahKobyltLIVE today. Maybe you’ll learn a tip or two on how to tame your cranky side, and your loved ones, too. #DeborahKobyltLIVE on all audio and video platforms.
