I never realized how badly I had viewed my body until I saw it physically it change in front of me. Around 15/16 years old, I learned that in order to change my weight, I could change my eating habits. I thought I was changing for the better, but it wasn't. Although it was a lesson I had to go through, every lesson is a blessing in disguise. After almost two years of self sabotaging through my diet, I have overcome the emotional and physical boundaries I put on myself of what it means to be "skinny" in today's society. There is more to life than how my body looks and the only person I look for approval from now, is God and I hope you do too.
