Tackling climate change: what the VET and international education sectors are doing

Claire is joined on this episode by Emma Pollard from the Taronga Conservation Society (which operates both Taronga and Western Plains zoos and has its own enterprise RTO), Paul Saunders an expert on Training Packages to discuss the Sustainability Training Package, and Ailsa Lamont an expert in the international education sector who now runs her own business (Pomegranate Global) and is a co-founder of CANIE.

The discussions focus on a range of ways the VET and international education sectors can, and are, assisting in the fight against climate change.

If you'd like Pomegranate Global to help your organisation tackle climate change you can find them at: https://www.pomegranateglobal.com.au and if you want to find out more about the Climate Action Network for International Educators their website is: http://www.can-ie.org and you can sign-up (for free) as a CANIE member at: http://www.can-ie.org/sign-up.html that will keep you in the loop on all of their efforts, including the upcoming virtual Climate Action Summit they're hosting.

The ‘What now? What next?’ podcast recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as Australia’s traditional custodians.
