The first movie up on the show is one we have both seen in the past, and thought it was also partially relevant considering the current quarantines happening: The Seventh Sign starring Demi Moore, Jurgen Prochnow, and Michael Beihn.Could we have chosen a more fitting movie? Sure, but this was on our minds, so we started here.

The Filmmaking Sucks Podcast - Episode 1
While Channel X is on a break, we decided to start a new weekly show called Filmmaking Sucks, where we talk about what it's like being independent filmmakers, and all of the successes and pitfalls that come with it. Your hosts are Manny Serrano, Lindsay Serrano and Mario Melillo. Each week (or, best attempt at each week) we will discuss a subject in straight talk. By that we mean, no cuts, no edits, straight through our mouths, into your ears. We are here to discuss our filmmaking successes, mistakes, happy accidents, and some of the lessons we've learned along the way, and we want to be as honest as possible about it. Full disclosure: if you do hear an edit, it is because a mic went out, a loud car passed by, a memory card was full, or something else that could possibly affect the physical audio of the show occurred. We can't control everything, we can only work with what we have,a nd do the best job we possibly can. On our first episode, we are going to keep it light, talk a bit about ourselves, some of the things we've done, and maybe help you to get to know us a bit better. Subscribe to the Filmmaking Sucks Podcast on iTunes, and please rate and review us! You can also email us at filmmakingsucks@gmail.com with your feedback and questions. Our worst day on set, is still better than our best day anywhere else. - Every Filmmaker Ever.

On this post-Thanksgiving episode, we have decided to discuss something we all love and hold near and dear to our hearts: food! And not just any food, but human flesh! From the Pilgrims at Jamestown, to Jeffrey Dahmer and the Infamous, Richard Trenton Chase, we discuss multiple instances of cannibalism. We will cover the different types of cannibalism, as well as explain why, in the event of the apocalypse, you need to leave your vegetarian friends behind to fend for themselves! Skinwalkers
Happy Turkey Day everyone! While most people are sitting around a table eating (and we hope enjoying) dinner, we have decided to bring you a special bonus episode of Channel X, where we discuss one of the oldest supernatural legends of North America, the Native American Skinwalker. Unfortunately, Manny spent three days dealing with a tooth infection, so the episode is a little late, but fret not! The discussion is just as compelling! The history of this creature goes back centuries, but is most widely known today in the Navajo traditional Skinwalker. Let us tantalize you with the history of this legendary shape-shifter, as we discuss the etymology, and how it connects to modern day Lycanthropy and Ufology! In a discussion that's sure to be extremely polarizing, Manny, Lindsay and Erik sit down to discuss the 2016 election results. We had planned this to be a 20-30 minute discussion and only intended to be broadcast on Facebook Live, but it ran much longer than expected. So, here is the full discussion on Trump VS Hillary 2016!

Witch Hunting
This week on the show, we discuss the horrible history of Witch Hunting in America and beyond! From ole England and colonial Salem, to modern day Africa, witches have been persecuted everywhere. We discuss the history of Witch Hunters, beginning with the Malleus Malefecarum (the Witch Hunters Bible) and how the early Christians adapted society to fit the religion. We cover the first American Witch Trials, in 1662 Connecticut. Surprisingly, there are indeed still Witch Trials happening today in our modern society, with thousands of people killed, as witches, over the past 10 years alone!Subscribe to us on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn or one of the many other podcast apps out there! The History of Creepy Clown Sightings
Happy Halloween to you all! Well, it's not Halloween quite yet...but to us, October IS Halloween! So, this week on the show, Manny, Lynn and Erik discuss the (not-so) recent rash of creepy clown sightings. As it turns out, this is not the first time incidents like this have occurred. In fact, it happens so often, and is so strange, it has been dubbed "The Phantom Clown Theory." So we decided to delve into some of the more infamous, and truly frightening, accounts of Creepy Clown sightings in America, which has been a regular occurrence for over 35 years! Strap in coulrophobics, this one could get a little scary..Subscribe to us on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn or one of the many other podcast apps out there! Murderous Animals
This week, we took a break from the usual doom and gloom of our show (sorta) and discussed some of the craziest animal attacks in history! We begin by waxing about female vocal fry, the new Natasha Lyonne movie AntiBirth, and 12 Monkeys in a futile attempt to segue into our topic for the day, while drinking Ecto Cooler. After the break, we begin by discussing the numerous Nile Crocodiles which have recently been found in Florida. We then discuss numerous accounts of the various types of animals which have attacked people in the past including: Gustave: The Serial Killer Crocodile, The Battle of Ramree Island, Quints Story, Mr Hands and much much more. Did you know that Prairie Dogs are actually Serial Killers..? True Ghost Stories Interview
About three weeks ago, Manny was fortunate enough to be interviewed on the paranormal radio show, True Ghost Stories. The show is hosted by Adam Ginsberg and Sherri Emily, and can be regularly heard on Monday Nights at 10pm eastern time on WLOR.NET. So, this week we are presenting the interview in full to you, our Channel X Listeners.  On the show they have interviewed a plethora of paranormal investigation crews, so i was very excited when Adam asked me to be a guest on the show. we discussed my own personal Shadow Person experiences, among a few other subjects. We've known Adam for a few years now, him and his wife Elsie run Twitch Twitch Productions, which host the Macabre Faire Film Festival, Haunt Faire and numerous other events throughout the year. Their next big event is Immortal Con, coming up next weekend on Sept 24th in Ronkonkoma, NY at the Clarion Conference Center. Immortal Con is a Fantasy & Cosplay convention with a secondary cause; Elsie Ginsberg was diagnosed with Breast Cancer many years ago, and part of Immortal Cons mission is to spread awareness and help to get attention to the cause of fighting breast cancer and coming together in support of those who have survived the fight, and those who haven't. So, if ever there was a show for you to get behind, this is the one. This coming Saturday, Sept 17th, you can find us at 'Grindhouse at Cafe Z'. Grindhouse is a mostly quarterly event in Union, NJ showcasing some of the newest films in Independent Horror and SciFi. This Saturday we will be at the show, premiering the first two episodes of our new web series, Dark Tales From Channel X. So, if you're in the NY/NJ area this weekend, come on out and see some great short films for the day. There will also be musical performances and vendors set up for the day, including ourselves. So, if you would like to pick up our films on DVD, this is your chance! head on over to Horrornerd.net for more information and to buy your tickets for the day.Subscribe to us on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn or one of the many other podcast apps out there! The Political Commentary Of Batman Vs Superman
This may be a strange topic for us to discuss, a little off of what you normally get from Channel X, but it's something we've been discussing privately for a few months now, and we wanted to do it publicly.Imagine that Batman is the Democratic Party and Superman is the Republican Party. That's all I'll say as a precursor.. Listen in!Music from Without You, I'm Hunting Them is available at:wekeepoddhours.bandcamp.com

Was HH Holmes Actually Jack The Ripper? Part II
Last week, we discussed claims made by Jeff Mudgett, Great Great Grandson of serial killer H H Holmes, of Holmes actually being Jack The Ripper. Lindsay did some research, and we have decided to sit down again and discuss the validity of Mudgett's claims, his book, and how he came across this information.
