Drew set out to make a feature film. When performance artist Blaine Fuller came for an audition, Drew put everything aside and starting following Blaine, making a documentary about him. When Blaine disappeared, only to become a big star in Japan, Drew once again put everything aside and moved to Tokyo to finish the documentary.
