418: What Makes A Great Chiropractic Website?
A chiropractor’s website is no longer a luxury, but a necessity in today’s digital world. It serves as a powerful marketing tool and a way to reel in new patients. And while having an online presence on various platforms is important, your website remains the cornerstone of your online image. You know what they say, first impressions matter – and that’s exactly what potential patients experience when they visit your website. So, let’s get down to brass tacks. The main goal of your chiropractic website is to turn curious visitors into actual patients. While you might be tempted to use your website for various purposes, like educating existing patients or selling products, it’s vital to keep your focus on attracting new patients. What does it take to create an exceptional chiropractic website, you ask? Well, it’s not about who built it or how much money you spent on it. A truly great website is easily discoverable, and it’s highly effective in converting visitors into patients. Being easily discoverable means your website should rank well on Google because let’s face it, that’s where most searches happen. Achieving a high rank on Google isn’t a walk in the park; it requires doing many small things right and consistently. Beware of SEO shortcuts or secrets that seem too good to be true – they usually are. An outstanding chiropractic website zeroes in on new patients, making it a breeze for them to schedule their first appointment. A pretty website is useless if it doesn’t drive new patients to your practice. Now, let’s talk about some common mistakes chiropractors make with their websites: Cluttering the website with too much information. Failing to provide a clear call-to-action. Designing the website without SEO in mind. Featuring social media links in the header, which can be distracting. Adding content just for the sake of it – quality matters. Overloading visitors with information too soon, such as discussing multiple phases of care. Handing over control of the URL to someone else, which can create future issues. To sum it up, a successful chiropractic website is all about being easily found and effectively converting new patients. Keep it focused, user-friendly, and engaging, and you’ll be on your way to a thriving online presence. 417: Ring Dinger Interview | A Conversation With Dr. Gregory Johnson
Almost 2 years ago, I decided to do a podcast where I talked about Why Chiropractors Dislike the Ring Dinger. Before that podcast, I really didn’t know much about Dr. Greg Johnson other than what I heard in passing, and I had never spoken to him. Shortly after that podcast, Dr. Greg reached out to me to chat. Fast forward to last week, I finally got a chance to interview Dr. Greg on my podcast. We talked about how the Ring Dinger came about. We discussed his practice philosophy and how it impacts the care he provides. We also talked about his YouTube success and the downside of being YouTube famous. Overall, it was a fun conversation. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Let’s get into it. 415: What Chiropractors Can Learn From A Bryan Cranston Quote
One of my guilty pleasures is a Youtube show called Hot Ones. It’s a show where celebrities are interviewed while eating spicy hot wings. Not too long ago, I watched an episode with Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad. In the interview, he commented how being a good actor required a relationship level of commitment. A lot of what he said applies to being a successful chiropractor. If a chiropractor is going to be successful, they need to be committed to the process for better and for worse. I decided to talk about it on this week’s chiropractic podcast. Let’s get into it. It’s almost impossible to be a successful chiropractor without spending a lot of time working.
