Feeling it All With Fred Odgaard
Hello everyone and welcome back! Today I have on my amazing friend Fred Odgaard as we round out the February LOVE series! We are talking about everything from Celine Dion to Cirque Du Soleil and Broadway! I am so proud to call him my friend and am so excited to share this episode with you!*Originally form the small town of Moreno Vally CA. he first appeared on television in the Nickelodeon show All That!. He has danced for Paula Abdul, Tina Turner, Cher, Dancing With The Stars, Glee, Dance Flick, Shrek. Commercial credits include: Orbit Gum, Gap, Sketchers, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, Wella Hair Products, Disney Theme Parks, Holland America Cruise Lines and SEGA. Fredric moved to Japan to dance for Tokyo Disney in their acclaimed show ENCORE! Soon After Fred joined the company of Celine Dions show in Las Vegas A New Day...Fredric spent the next two years dancing for what would be the most sought after dance show of all time. He was a cast member first Arena tour of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in 2008. Soon after the holiday season came to a close He would then join the Cirque Due Soliel production of ViVA Elvis back in Las Vegas. Moving to NYC in 2011 he soon went over seas to Germany to perform as Snow Boy in the international company of West Side Story. NYC credits include: First national tour of We Will Rock You. Dance Team Realness with Dani Eustice
Hello everyone! Welcome back!Today I am chatting about all things dance team with my dear friend Dani Eustice! We are getting real and talking about all things auditions and what to expect, how to show up for your team, understanding your "why", and being honest with your goals and dreams! *Dani Eustice is the former National Curriculum Director for UDA and Former Director of Team USA Dance. Dani spent 2 years as the Head Coach and choreographer for the Hawaii Pacific University Dance Team, leading the team to two national titles at NDA. As a former member and captain of the Hawaii Pacific University Dance Team she also earned an NDA national title in 2004. While dancing at Orange Coast College she was a two-time national champion and captain of the dance team in Costa Mesa, California. After High School, Dani began working for UDA and was a 13 year Head Instructor for UDA summer camps. She has also worked as a UDA Choreographer and adjudicator for the National Dance Team Championships in Orlando, FL.  Dani has danced for R&B artist Usher and in the major motion picture The Hot Chick. She is a Graduate of Hawaii Pacific University with a BA in Advertising. Dani has choreographed for the Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Team and for the opening number of the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as numerous nationally-ranked high school and college dance teams, including UNLV (NV), University of MN (MN), ASU (AZ), University of AZ (AZ) University of St Thomas (MN), MN State University Mankato (MN), St Cloud State University (MN), NDSU (ND), St. Johns University (NY), George Washington University (DC), University of OK (OK), Thunder Ridge HS (CO), Carlsbad HS (CA), Lincoln East HS (NE), Highlands Ranch High School (CO), Cherry Creek HS (CO), Bismark HS (ND), Academy of the Holy Angels (NJ), Ronald Reagan HS (TX), Oviedo HS (FL) and St. Andrews Priory (HI). Mackenzie offers up her outlook on the power of movement, connection and authenticity which I hope will inspire you as much as it inspired me!BIO: Mackenzie is a Los Angeles based choreographer and entrepreneur and recognized both nationally and internationally for her distinctive and artistically grounded choreography and her ability to create a sense of space. Her professional credits include Missy Elliot, Lululemon, Donovan Woods, Sephora, Caesar's Palace, DanceOn, Polica and Simon Birch's "14th Factory" and is a two time Capezio A.C.E Awards nominee. Mackenzie is the Director of LA contemporary dance company GEOMETRY, the CEO & Co-Founder of Soul de Soul Dance Convention where she also teaches on faculty. She is the founder and developer of MMMETHOD; a comprehensive holistic approach to movement and technique grounded in a mindful ethos.  She has had the honor of being invited to showcase work and full length concerts across the world in Scotland, Greece, Italy, Australia and Spain and presented her research entitled "Intentions: Getting Present for Contemporary Movement" at the World Congress of Dance in Athens, Greece. Mackenzie is on faculty at AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Hollywood. Before COVID-19 she was teaching weekly open classes at IAF Compound in North Hollywood, her classes can be found online via IAF PRIME, a virtual platform for the studio. She is also guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance in New York. Mackenzie is also a judge and guest faculty for West Coast Dance Elite. Mackenzie is a proud member of the International Dance Council (CID) and has had the privilege of teaching throughout the United States, Europe, Greece and New Zealand.
