A Heartfelt Message from Christina Bravo
Like many of us, Christina and family come from a place of being naturally lean early in life, only to have unknowingly poor health habits creep up and manifest as symptoms later in life. All of a sudden, life seemed hard, exhausting, and extremely challenging. Once she had the realization that her and her family deserve better, she experimented with many different workout programs and diets. Eventually, she landed on something that she could stick with, and never looked back. Our latest podcast is all about sun protection! If you must lather up, we’ve got some pretty solid recommendations below plus some solid resources. . . To be honest, sunscreen should be your LAST RESORT. All you have to do is be smart, and keep these tips in mind… Wearing clothes can shield you from the sun. Shirt, hat, pants, when needed. Seriously, super easy. Plan your events around the strongest sun. Spend more of your time outside in the early day and later afternoon. During the brightest, just get out of the sun. Use shade!!! You still get to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without putting yourself in burn exposure. Use an umbrella or the shade of a tree. Don’t be a hero. No matter what happens, try not to burn! Sounds obvious but it’s hard to notice sometimes. When you get red, or feel hot, it’s been too long! Again, DON’T BE A HERO! THE SUN WILL WIN! SO, if you must lather up, check out these tips.
