Hey WCI! This Friday is Valentine's Day and the GSA club would like to host a Valentines Day social at lunch to celebrate all types of love. Whether you have a partner or are single, it doesn't matter at all because we are just celebrating love and how it comes in many forms. Come on out to room 215 on Valentines Day to make some cookies, make valentines, play a Kahoot or just hang out with your friends. It will be LOVE-ly!
ESL Sports night is happening on Wednesday February the 12th from 6-8pm. Everyone is welcome! Come alone or bring a friend and get ready for a great night of sports, friends and fun!
Hey Vikes! Relay For life is coming this May 28th. Are you interested in helping plan and organize Relay? If so please come down to the student council office at anytime during the day this week to fill out a sign up sheet! Remember Relay is 3 months away so start getting your teams together of up to 15 WCI students. Thanks Vikes!
This past Friday, WCI DECA competed in the annual Provincials event in Toronto. Our students worked hard and did an outstanding job at representing your school. Your VEX team was awesome this past Saturday in Collingwood. For those who may not know what VEX is, it is a Robotics competition. The team won 5 rounds and only lost 2 putting us in 13th place overall. 12 Teams didn't show up so we were only competing again 60 teams. Please congratulate Cody B, Lauren A and Tristan O who represented WCI Vikings this weekend & the whole Robotics club who helped us get ready for both Brampton on Feb 1st and Collingwood on Feb 8th.
For those registered for the CCC this week, we will be writing in Rm 218 and Rm 216 immediately after school. Please sign onto the Grader and try the practice to make sure your account is working properly before Wednesday.
