Waypoints - A New Series!
Waypoints is a series of mini-episodes that will be broadcast in between our "Flyin' the Route" guest interviews. We will present additional history, interesting facts and short stories about the WWII Alaska - Siberia Air Route (ALSIB) and the Lend-Lease program with Russia that may not have been covered in previous episodes. You will also hear stories about some of the pilots who flew the route. We will also present some very interesting wartime correspondence between U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin as they discuss battle plans and U.S. aid to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease program.  If you have any questions about the history of ALSIB or the Warplanes to Siberia project, please email us at wts@bravo369.org and we will try to get those answered during the mailbag section of future Waypoints episodes.
