Speaking with Global Pharmaceutical Marketing Leader, Elisabeth Mostofi Nejad-Duernsteiner
We recently sat down with Elisabeth Mostofi Nejad-Duernsteiner, a Global Pharmaceutical Marketing Leader with a breadth of experience across a variety of therapeutic areas and regions around the world. She has a proven launch record with innovation and digital health and applies a patient-centric mindset with the vision to drive equity and equality to improve healthcare. An Economist by trade, Elisabeth brings an alternative business approach to pharmaceutical marketing and starting in the industry as a Commercial Representative, she recognises the importance of the customer and how to sell to your audience. Elisabeth is extremely passionate about driving patient centricity, focusing on individual patient needs. She discusses how many healthcare care research tools such as questionnaires and research studies are often biased to a certain group of people, sometimes unconsciously, and how this can have an effect on the wider population and underrepresented groups. Data on the safety and efficiency of drugs are normally derived from male patients and therefore we need to include data from females and people of different ethnicities to generate data and research that is truly representative and inclusive. Along with this disparity in research, Elisabeth also discusses the issues concerning access to healthcare, particularly in countries such as Latin America and Africa, a cause that she is extremely passionate about. In this interview, Elisabeth also shares her insights on leadership. She discusses how to establish an area of “psychological safety”, an environment where people can feel comfortable voicing their uncertainties and can ask questions, express concerns and put forward ideas without judgement is extremely important. Elisabeth advises that an increase in agility and curiosity paired with an organisation that allows failure can drive transformation success forward.

Securing the Software Supply Chain: Why cloud native apps require a different approach
We’ve seen this story play out in grand fashion over the last year: attackers are using the software supply chain to inject malicious artifacts into CI/CD pipelines and execute elaborate kill chains in production. Traditional software testing techniques are ill-equipped to detect these advanced threats that only initiate during runtime, and cloud native ecosystems add multiple layers of complexity. Now, today’s best practices for DevSecOps all but oblige security teams to implement complete pre-production analysis of runtime behavior, to provide detailed documentation of the attack kill chain, and to facilitate proper remediation at the risk’s source. At the Inspired Virtual Summit, Aqua Security discussed supply chain security for today’s cloud native software ecosystems, exploring:- Advanced threats in the software supply chain.- Security implications of cloud native and DevOps methodologies.- Best practices for detecting malware and mitigating risks before production deployment.Speaker:Steven Zimmerman, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Aqua Security

No more excuses: how the cloud keeps your data secure in an ever-changing workplace
They say hindsight’s a wonderful thing, but knowing what you know now - with your wins and failures of the last decade behind you - what would you do differently if you could press a wipe-clean button and restart how you keep your tech stack secure? With big swathes of your teams and ecosystem now working flexibly, and with many set to stay that way, Brian Brackenborough, CISO at Channel 4, believes now is the time to act: “It's hard to think of any new business starting up these days without a cloud-first strategy, which gives them the jump on existing companies that have legacy services. The 2020 pandemic demonstrated how Cloud eased the transition from office-based working to Home-based working, and for those that hadn't made the jump, it's time to bite the bullet, with focus on digital security.” So, when it comes to rethinking how to keep your data, workflows and teams safe in the cloud, where do you start? With this new hybrid of home workers versus office-based teams, anyone responsible for a company’s digital security faces a challenge. In this panel session, Brian is joined by Debra Okwuzi, Security and Compliance expert at Dropbox, and Nick Smith, IT & Digital Operations Director at 1,000heads, to discuss the role of cloud solutions, and how you can use them to retain trust, security and compliance with your data, no matter what’s going on in the world.Speakers:Brian Brackenborough, Chief Information Security Officer, Channel 4Nick Smith, IT & Digital Operations Director, 1,000headsDebra Okwuzi, Security & Compliance Expert, Dropbox Business
