Brad Hibbard Program Manager for America’s VetDogs presents and interesting story of not only assisting Veterans with Service Dogs but also providing Combat Stress Control Dogs to active duty units, many of whom have been raised by prison inmates, who have benefited from the puppy-raising process. Listen in to hear about the variety of Service Dogs and how the dog and the vet are paired up. If you think you need a dog, he explains the process and what happens once you are accepted into the program. Veterans are not charged for the services they provide and the organization is a 501 c3 not-for-profit and is supported by donors who care about veterans. Sexual Trauma, what is it, what are its symptoms and can it be treated?
Mr. Patrick Diggs oversees at Bay Pines VA Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida one of the largest in-patient Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Units in the VA and most likely in the country. They answer right away no matter the time of day and can start you on the way to getting help. Their network of caring organizations can provide a multitude of services. Major General Mark Graham the executive director is a Gold Star Father and making sure that this organization provides first-class help is not a job with him but rather a mission. A new VA app gives you instant access to most benefit and health care information.
 Chris Johnston, Deputy Chief Technology Officer Digital Experience,  brings to our attention a new app that the VA has introduced called VA Health and Benefits. This new app can be found anywhere you would download apps for your devices:  Google Play Store, or the Apple App Store. This new application lets you check up on claims and see, among many other things, all your VA letters, vaccine records, facility locator and another way to contact your doctor.
