Code Is Law: On Liberty in Cyberspace by Lawrence Lessig read by Useful Programmer
In this episode, I read an article by Lawerence Lessig. This article is about the choices which we get to make as programmers. As programmers, I believe that we have a lot of responsibility in the systems we develop. We need to be careful and make specific choices as we develop the systems of tomorrow. Facebook is starting to break. Twitter makes people crazy. I believe that lovers of the internet will roll back to systems which serve them, rather than harvest them. You can subscribe to the show on the following platforms: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Stitcher | Overcast Perhaps I’m wrong. Either way, this is a healthy article for young programmers to contemplate. If you would rather read the article from the source, you can find it here: https://harvardmagazine.com/2000/01/code-is-law-html The post Code Is Law: On Liberty in Cyberspace by Lawrence Lessig read by Useful Programmer appeared first on UsefulProgrammer.org.
