Anecdates Episode 1: The Royal Dating Sampler
Swipe right or swipe left? Decisions, decisions! Which dating app do you use? There’s Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Match.com, Twitter, Craigslist … I mean, wwhhhaaatttt, NOT Craigslist! At Hooked on Colfax, a coffee and booze shop, Kat (@Katmoney), Kevin (@KevinPeterson), Marcelo (@guyincognito) and Missreported (@Missreported), some who had known each other for years and others who were just meeting for the first time, met up to talk about some of their online dating creepy (read: sad, heartbreaking, funny, awkward) stories. The goal: To share, hold hands and sing Kumbaya to heal after said dates. Kidding! Just to laugh a little at this ridiculous little thing called love … and dating in Denver during the tech app boom era. From duck face profile photos, retelling their dates on Twitter -- after meeting them on Twitter -- and having friends in common also on Twitter, to bringing another friend to a first date, we’re sure that you can relate to some of these creepy tales from our online dating files. And yes, both girls on this podcast have gotten dick pics before, and we both STRONGLY recommend that you guys never, ever, ever send these to anyone. EVER. Unless you want to have a group of girls laughing at your tiny ass dick (that looks big because the photo was taken from POV … yea, right!). What are some of your funniest, creepiest or worst dating stories? Share with us below! Did you like this podcast? Would you like hear more?
