You still think all-nighters are a good idea? Well, good luck. The entirety of semester 3 of Galactic History, Ancient Sith, all in one holo. 

All things must end, and so must another semester at the University of Coruscant. But not before we go out with a banger. Revan and Malak. A buddy movie for the ages, if buddy movies also included a lot of death and some disfigurement. Still, a tremendous story with cool helmets. 

Back on Coruscant.  In a steamtub. What better place to wallow in your misery after the disaster of a holodrama; Tauntaunado..... or was it?  Join Dr. Ravencourt and, of course, Todd in the penultimate episode of the season and listen to the tale of Naga Sadow, the Sith Lord who took the first bold step.

There's plenty of reasons to be scared of a Sith Lord. They're manipulative, they're diabolical, they are the power behind the power. But then there's the kind of Sith Lords that would rather just mow down a battlefield of soldiers like blades of grass. You should probably be really scared of those ones. Join Dr. Ravencourt as he talks about Darth Malgus, completes his work on the holodrama Tauntaunado and gets his paycheck... kinda. 

Tauntauns are special creatures. Unless they're digitally created monsters that make no sense in the context of the movie plot, whatever that is. Gerry the Canon Junkie of The Bombadcast guest voices a spectacular character in this excellent episode about perhaps the deepest character story of any Sith in Star Wars history, Darth Treya. 

Life on the set of a holodrama can be great. And sometimes it's not. Particularly the food. Join Dr. Ravencourt and Todd as they trudge through another questionable day of holodrama making and enjoy a great lecture on maybe the most arrogant Sith Lord of all time, Exar Kun. 

Todd and Dr. Ravencourt continue to muddle through the recording of Tauntaunado when they meet a slightly overzealous security guard (Tony of Guard Frequency). Things predictably go awry, but hey, you get a lecture on perhaps the most ambitious Sith lord of all time while we're at it. 

Episode 3 of Season 3 finds Dr. Ravencourt and Todd waking up far too early to a very excited director and the famous leading lady of Holodramas, Lusa Thienno (voiced by the spectacular Luthien of Girls With Sabers). All that and the conclusion of the Darth Bane story with his new apprentice, the sith sorcerer Darth Zannah. Class is in session. 

In Episode 2 of Season 3, Dr. Ravencourt and Todd travel to the set of the holodrama "Tauntaunado". Dr. Ravencourt manages to find time to give a lecture on one of the greatest Sith stories ever told; Darth Bane. I mean, this guy invented the Rule of Two.  Can we show a little respect here?  

Season 3 of the UofC starts off in the heart of Coruscant with a triumphant return to the Grand Lecture Hall! Featuring guest voice Travis McElroy of My Brother, My Brother and Me as well as The Adventure Zone and Shmanners.  Dr. Ravencourt and everyone's favorite Mon Cal T.A. Todd return to start a new semester on Sith Lords with the granddaddy of them all, Marka Ragnos. 

Hey UofC Students, Season 3 is wrapping up and it's my birthday, so I thought I'd give a present to you. Isn't that how birthday's work?  No?  Maybe on the outer rim it works like this.  Who knows.  Anyways, Season 3 will be out shortly. In the meantime, let me talk about how little we know about Yoda's species. It's something I do very well.  

A mini lecture provided by Dr. Ravencourt. A cheap way to buy time while he works on Season 3.  The twin ion engine. Raith Sienar designs an engine which revolutionizes the Empire's ability to create kill marks on rebel helmets everywhere. 

A mini lecture provided by Dr. Ravencourt with special guest, Blur Lightfire. Cienna Ree. One of the fastest rising stars of the Imperial Navy, a woman of color, and captain of a Star Destroyer by age 25.  And you've probably never heard of her.  Time to fix that.

In the finale of Season 2, Dr. Ravencourt and Todd return to the Grand Lecture Hall on campus at the University of Coruscant to teach a class on the greatest bounty hunter of all time, Boba Fett. Join the UofC to experience all the in-universe star wars sound as you take a seat in the heart of the galaxy. Class is in session!

Cad Bane took the mantle of "Best Bounty Hunter" when Jango Fett died. Their similarities are striking. Maybe not as similar as Jango to Boba, but c'mon, let's be fair. Cad Bane had one up on Jango Fett though, and that was a flair for the dramatic. Bane pulled off some of the greatest jobs in history and was absolutely not scared of the limelight. He relished it. And, if I might add, he looked good doing it too. 

What do the Clone Wars and Boba Fett have in common? The answer is the greatest bounty hunter of his era, a mandalorian named Jango Fett. And no, I don't want to debate mandalorians, but I probably will a bit. Either way, Jango Fett was so well regarded, that Darth Tyranus decided to recruit him for a little cloning operation which resulted in a galaxy-wide political upheaval and the eradication of a thousand years of jedi tradition. Pretty impressive, if that's your sort of thing. 

If you're a Trandoshan, born as the son of the leader of the bounty hunters guild, and your father names you "Devours His Prey" after you eat all your brothers and sisters, well you have a lot to live up to.  Bossk did exactly that.  Daddy was proud. 

There are some bounty hunters in the galaxy with a moral code. They do things for a reason and they don't bend. They won't take certain jobs, or eliminate certain targets. They are rational and thoughtful and maybe even a little bit caring. They are not Aurra Sing.

Greedo is a great example of why not all jobs are for all people. Sometimes it takes talent. Sometimes it takes a certain temperament. When you cram a square peg in a round hole, you may not like the result. And it may get you blasted. Greedo was a bounty hunter who never stood a chance, from his rough start to his end at a table with Han Solo.
