UNT 115: Zack Snyder's Justice League
It's finally here. After four years and one really annoying hashtag, DC, Warner Bros. and HBO released the Snyder Cut, now forever known as Zack Snyder's Justice League. A (four hour) movie we thought we'd never see. But is it any good? For this 'Agne Cut' of a movie we've already reviewed, we formed a League of our own when Tim, Jared and Greig sat down with Aussie Top 3's Stacey, Mike from Mike Seibert Radio and Melissa from We Binge On Crime to discuss not only the changes, additions and improvements that Zack Snyder restored in his vision, but how this version of the film came into existence in the first place. Aspect ratios, deleted scenes, reshoots and of course, reach around jokes... it's all here. So slip on your black suit and get comfortable, then check out Episode 115 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent. We promise it's shorter than the movie. (Just.) Hosted by: 'Granny Goodness' Tim Agne (@timagne). Featuring: 'Captain Boomerang' Greig Tansley (@GreigT13), 'SuperJew' Jared Robinovitz (@Superjew75), 'Little Sherbie' Stacey Herbert (@littlesherbie) and Mike Seibert from Mike Seibert Radio (@MikeSibertRadio). Special Guest: Melissa Prioleau from We Binge On Crime (@HolyBatgirl). Music by: Tom Holkenborg.

UNT 114: WandaVision
What is UNT if not podcasting persevering? That’s right, we watched WandaVision (and so did you) so we put together an Avengers-level crossover to talk about it. What did the MCU do for their first ever television series? Did they play it safe? Give us a bunch of comic book splash page images, or bring in a bunch of big-name supervillains like Magneto, Doctor Doom or, wait for it… Mephisto? Despite the rumors, not really. But what they did do was deliver an outstanding take on depression, loss and grief with that magic Marvel touch, so you better believe we reviewed it in all its Hex-altered glory. Mega Ran and Rok from the MatMania Podcast returned to our show to talk all about Westview, Wanda (and funnily enough, Vision), not to mention that X-Men appearance and of course – The Scarlet Witch. It may have been ‘Agatha All Along’, but this episode is truly magic, so check it out before we all get blipped again. Thick overcoats optional. Hosted by: ‘The other comic book Harkness', 'Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75), 'No Coats Necessary' Tim Agne (@timagne) & 'Mayor of Westview' Derek Montilla (@cap_kaveman). Special Guests: Mega Ran (@MegaRan) & Rok (@Roknowledge) from the MatMania Podcast (@MatMania). Music by: Classic TV & Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez / Leland Philpot.

UNT 113: Coming To America
With a sequel only weeks away, (and let’s face it, everyone is running out of Netflix to watch) we took a look back at the smash hit 1988 comedy from Eddie Murphy: Coming to America. How many tangents can we go on in a single episode? More than you can shake your rose petals at. From the origins of Eddie Murphy playing multiple roles in his films, McDonald’s Vs. McDowell’s and the new version of The Stand, to the specific way that hair is NOT cut and drums are NOT hit in this movie, not to mention the genius that is Randy Watson… this one has it all. Just don’t mention Rocky Marciano. So let your Soul Glo and check out UNT 113: Coming to America. Hosted by: ‘King of Queens... land’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & 'Rocky Marciano' Tim Agne (@timagne). Music by: Nile Rodgers & Soul Glo.

UNT 112: Cobra Kai Season 3
Cobra Kai is back with its third season, so of course we donned our headbands to review and relive its nostalgic goodness. Brave your Vietnam flashbacks and high-school-battle PTSD, return to Okinawa and reopen your Facebook account, since this season had more to dissect that you can throw a big, red mohawk at. Returning favorites like Chozen, Kumiko and of course, Alli with an i helped fill the gap left by Aisha and Stingray. But what about our classic characters like Johnny, Daniel, Miguel and Sam? Not to mention, Kreese and newly christened bad-boy, Robbie? How did the season unfold for them, and what’s their future look like in the upcoming Season 4? Well, we came up with some badass (and not so badass) ideas, so jump on and check out episode 112 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent. Now… “Send it to the Internet…” Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & Mateo Morales (@matt_morales). UNT 111: Wonder Woman 1984
The world is in all kinds of chaos right now, and just wishing it all away won’t solve anything. Or will it? This is the quandary we found ourselves in when we reviewed and debated the new movie, Wonder Woman 1984. Recent events may have forced this movie’s release to be different than most. But, does that matter? Does the theater experience compare to watching at home, or is this movie really as bad as the critics say it is? Along with our very own Wonder Woman, Stacey, we grabbed our lassos of truth and dived in faster than a spelunking Amazon. Is Maxwell Lord a poor man’s Lex Luthor? Did Barbara need to go full Cheetah? What is up with Alastair, and why is Steve Trevor Quantum Leaping? To find out, make a wish and enjoy Episode 111 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent: Wonder Woman 1984. (Parachute pants not included.) Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75), ‘Thundercat White Walker’ Tim Agne (@TimAgne), 'Alastair' Matt Morales (matt_morales), 'Two Toes Down' Mike DiPasquale (@maplesyrupdick) & 'Wonder Sherbie' Stacey Herbert (@littlesherbie). UNT 110: The Mandalorian Season 2
SPOILERS, kids... Look out into space: It’s an X-Wing, it’s a glove, it’s a green lightsaber! The Mandalorian is back with another stellar season that proves you can please old and new fans alike (sorry, JJ & Rian). Our resident Jedi and Star Wars expert, Flo, returns along with new Foundling, Rok from the Mat Mania Podcast to discuss the new Mandalorian season, including a host of new characters, fan favorites brought to life for the first time and of course… that final episode that broke the internet (and a few marriages). How do Joe Chill, Olyfantastic and Kyle Reese tie into the Star Wars Universe? Does that Jedi look like the chick from Mooby’s to you? Did Mayfeld shoot first? And do you prefer matte paint on your Mandalorian armor? Dragons, deep fakes, Dark Sabers and Dark Troopers, not to mention, so much more, coming to you from a galaxy far, far away with Episode 110 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent. Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Grogu Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75), ‘Krayt Dragon’ Tim Agne (@TimAgne), ‘Glitbiter’ Flo (@glitbiter) & Rok (@roknowledge) from The Mat Mania Podcast (@matmania). UNT 109: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
One of the most comic-accurate movies of all time is now 30 years old, so we decided to celebrate the Holidays by fighting in the 'old style', and look back at the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If this episode reminds you of something that happened years ago in Japan, it’s because we removed the penicillin from your pizza and kept those Sony payments at bay, to instead meditate on this revolutionary film from three decades ago that certainly wasn’t some cartoon. And if you don’t understand cricket… we’ll teach you. Structurally speaking, this one has it all - It slices, it dices, it makes French Fries in three different ways but still manages to go on unfunny, nerdy tangents faster than you can ninja-kick a damn rabbit. So check out Episode 109: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Unless you’re some kind of punker. Man, we hate punkers. Hosted by: ‘Captain Cricket’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: 'SuperShredder' Jared Robinovitz (@superjew75), 'Moonlighting' Joshua Schlag (@schlizzag / @thesteelcage), 'Master' Neo Ecks (@theneoecks) and Danny 'It's just Dan now' Schlag (@dannyschlag). UNT 108: The New Mutants
Despite reshoots, a corporate takeover and more release dates that you can shake a dragon puppet at, the movie we thought might never see the light of day has arrived: The New Mutants. Join us and our guest, Mike Seibert from Mike Seibert Radio in Limbo, as we rate, review and Rasputin this movie, which promises to be the final entry into the Fox X-Men Universe. UNT 107: Gremlins Vs Gremlins 2: The New Batch
Unfunny Nerd Tangent returns just in time for the festive season to discuss not one but two classics – Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Aaron and Ryan join us from the Autopod Decepticast to rate and review these seemingly-timeless creature-features, leading us down several tangents, including: why Kingston Falls looks eerily-similar to Hill Valley, why Kate’s Santa story stops the movie (ahem) dead in its tracks, and are the Gremlins living in the Breaking Bad universe? Not to mention, shocking revelations about Mrs. Deagle, why Daniel Clamp would be President in a forthcoming Gremlins 3, Mr. Futterman’s very own Jacob’s Ladder scenario, and what Rand Peltzer really gets up to when he’s away with ‘work’. You know the rules, now break ‘em all with episode 107 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent. ***Smokeless ashtray not included*** Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘Bat-Gremlin’ Tim Agne (@TimAgne) & ‘Mayor of Reseda’ Derek Montilla (@cap_kaveman). UNT 106: The Boys Season 2
Season 2 of The Boys has hit and no matter what your take was, it certainly wasn’t predictable. Fresca? Join us as we return to The Seven, Vought International and The Church of the Collective to discuss all the head-popping hilarity and whale-deep gore of the latest season. GoPro blackmail, the ultimate Übermensch, Almond Joys and most of all… all the C-Bombs you can shake a love sausage at, this season had it all. And next year we get Jensen Ackles. So don’t be a toxic personality, pass the Fresca (now exploding baby free) and enjoy episode 106 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent: The Boys, Season 2. Please sponsor us. UNT 105: Mean Girls
Get in, loser, we're podcasting. That’s right — we're talking about Mean Girls. And oh my God, we love your skirt. After a made-for-TV sequel and like a bajillion memes, this teen comedy classic is now old enough to be a junior in high school itself. Tina Fey's script remains as funny as ever, and watching Mean Girls in October 2020 raises some timely questions about how we should feel when a bully gets hit by a bus. It's just a shame that our tickets to the Broadway musical got canceled. So slather on the foot cream, cut two holes in your shirt and unwrap a Kälteen Bar — it's time to make out with a hotdog and hope we can sit with the band geeks. Wait, what? Hosted by: "Mrs. Norbury" Tim Agne (@timagne). Featuring: "Gretchen" Greig Tansley (@GreigT13) and "It's pronounced like Katie" Emily Parker (@emilyparkerhere). Music by: The Mean Girls & Kelis.

UNT 104: Cobra Kai Seasons 1 & 2
You asked for it, so here it is! It took a while, but FINALLY, Unfunny Nerd Tangent rates and reviews the nostalgic show that’s brought sentimental memories flooding back to even the most cynical karate-dojo masters – Seasons 1 & 2 of Cobra Kai. Retro-sequels and long-time-reunions are tough to get right, especially in this day and age of the complete reboot (and rip-off). But as we all know, the original is usually the best, so when we sat down to discuss why Cobra Kai has taken the world by storm (for young and old), we were swamped with potential tangents to delve into. What have Johnny and Daniel been up to these past 35 years? Does a new generation of 'karate kids' live up to the mantle of their forbearers? And what happened to Mr. Miyagi? Well, we flipped the script, dove into the back of the cement truck and cranked up the glam metal for this one to prove one way or another whether ‘Mercy is for the Weak’ or not. Also Diora Baird. Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & ‘Blue’ Matt Morales (@matt_morales). Music by: Poison & Joe Esposito.

UNT 103: Bill & Ted Face The Music
We were supposed to unite the world in nerddom. According to George Carlin, a podcast created by Tansley and Agne will save reality as we know it, uniting humanity across all time. If only we could get it done in 90 minutes. Good thing we have a time machine, because we're going all the way back to 1989 in San Dimas, California (which looks conspicuously like the suburbs of Phoenix) to celebrate Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Then we're cheating death, giving melvins to evil robot us-es and definitely not covering KISS as we dial up Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey from 1991. And finally, we drop the old phone booth in the nightmarish hellscape of 2020. After a most unprecedented 29-year hiatus, Bill S. Preston, Esq., and "Ted" Theodore Logan are wild dads ready to unite the world against a most heinous dearth of new movie releases. Reuniting an almost-too-Bill Alex Winter and a maybe-not-Ted-enough Keanu Reeves, Bill & Ted Face the Music shows us the inseparable slacker icons still struggling to fulfill their musical destiny (in maybe a little bit of a Bogus Journey retcon). And as their fairytale marriages near a breaking point, the future calls with a hard deadline. So lick the Cheetos dust off your fingers and hop into your time machine — whether it looks like a vintage phone booth or a sleek adult massager — because we've got a band to assemble and a song to not technically steal. Te adoro, Guillermo. Hosted by: 'Waterloo' Tim Agne (@timagne) Featuring: 'Station!' Greig Tansley (@greigt13) Music by: Big Pig and KISS.

UNT 102: DC FanDome Reactions
There’s a lot coming from Warner Brothers and DC, but will it be any good? DC FanDome happened online over the weekend, where a host of trailers and news was dropped / announced, so we thought we’d dive in and see what we all thought. We looked at the new cast / character reveals for The Suicide Squad, argued about the trailer for The Batman, and then went through the highs and lows of the new trailers for Wonder Woman 1984 and the ‘long-awaited’ Justice League: The Snyder Cut. Will the Americans ever be able to see these in the theater? Who knows? But for now, you can listen to our reactions to the latest DC news on Episode 102 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent. Oh, and grow up, bro. Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & 'Javelin' Tim Agne (@timagne). UNT 101: The Umbrella Academy Season 2
Oh my God, we’re back again… After crowning the first ever UNT champion in Episode 100, we return to 'normal' to avoid yet another Apocalypse with Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy. This season brought a lot to the table, diving into some unexpected themes like mental health, LGBT issues, the JFK Assassination and of course, the Civil Rights Movement. But was it also filled with superpowers stuff and time-travel nonsense? And did we go off on some weird tangents while discussing it? You bet your talking goldfish it/we did. So, before you come down with a case of paradox psychosis, jump back into the UNT timeline with us as we review The Umbrella Academy: Season 2. PS: We heard a rumor you rated us 5 stars. No? All right then, just listen anyway… Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperFlu’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & 'Number One' Tim Agne (@timagne). UNT 99: Independence Day
Hello and… Welcome to Earth! Since it’s the 4th of July, of course we gathered together one American, one Canadian and one Australian to sit down and talk about the 1996 blockbuster: Independence Day. Through the magic of international time-zones and Morse code, we each setup a city-sized spacecraft of our own to dissect and analyse this mammoth movie that not only made Will Smith a genuine, big-time action-hero, but gave us the phenomenon forever known as - PEAK GOLDBLUM. 24 years later, ID4 is still regarded as one of the best of its genre, and we endeavored to learn why, while one of us finally learned the actual name of one of its more prominent characters. Constance? Really? So kick the tires and light the fires, Big Daddy – it’s Unfunny Nerd Tangent 99: Independence Day. Also, is that Data from Star Trek? (Spoilers, it is.) It’s been two years, but Rick & Morty is back! Season 4 has already passed us by like Reggie in the night, but we were determined not to get off the Story Train until we spoke all about it (and pretend podcasts aren’t boring). UNT 97: Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Shave and a haircut... two bits! Just like the toons, you won't be able to resist our latest episode, as we do a deep dive on a cinematic classic: Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In 1988, a crazy movie was released that blended the line between live-action and animation, and yet… all we remember are those burning, red eyes and that high-pitched, squeaky voice. Oh, and Roger Rabbit. And Jessica. Mostly Jessica. This episode welcomes back Mike Seibert from the Mike Seibert Radio Show (and our Metallica episode) to reminisce about this landmark movie that has influenced filmmakers and animators ever since. Not to mention, our standard, tangential ways lead us down several dip-covered streets, including how Heidi Klum convinced all men that they actually don’t want a real-life Jessica, how Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy and Paul Reubens missed out on this film, bad rabbit costumes and several Back to the Future connections. And of course… nightmare fuel. Lots and lots of nightmare fuel. Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & 'Booby Trap' Tim Agne (@timagne). Special guest: Mike Seibert (@MikeSibertRadio). Music by: Alan Silvestri.
