UTBB Episode 64: Creationism- It Isn't Controversial. It's Bullshit.

Your favorite show is back with special guest host this week, Jim Helton, co founder of Tri-State Freethinkers out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Jim will be visiting us this week and sharing the details about the global headline making protest his organization will be holding on July 7th to counter Ken Ham's Ark Encounter grand opening in Petersburg, Kentucky. He also will discuss with us the issue with treating creationism as a legimate option in science classrooms, and in museums.  Along with some of the politics that protect Ken Ham's Ark Park from sinking under the pressure of legitimate business practices. We also explore the benefits of organizations like Freedom From Religion Foundation and American Atheists being available to the public for help in navigating infringement of church and state separations. It's a lively discussion with lots of information and details most don't read in the newspapers.   You'll also find out why wearing a cow suit whilst dancing in a parade during 90 degree weather is not for the faint of heart! The crew had a fun time to say the least during the past weekend's Pride events.   If you have a question regarding American Atheist membership, or need help navigating secular issues at home, the workplace, or in your community, check out the American Atheists website here.   For more information on Tri-State Freethinkers, Kate's local freethink tribe, check out the Tri-State Freethinkers website here.
