John and Paul had the pleasure of talking with internationally renowned Chef John Higgins. Mr. Higgins has been practicing his craft for over four decades. He was Queen Elizabeth's Chef for some time and has worked at so many high-profile restaurants, it would be impossible to list them all. He spent many years - and has just retired - as the Director of Enterprises and Brand Ambassador for the Center for Culinary Arts at George Brown College in Toronto. John relates some great anecdotes, drops a few names, and talks about what it takes to make it in the culinary world. John and Paul had the opportunity to interview Colette Mesher from the Ontario Beekeepers' Association ("OBA"). Colette has a Ph.D. from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. She is actively involved in the beekeeping industry working for commercial beekeepers, teaching workshops, and running her own beekeeping business. This is an interview with Brian Salt from the Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre in south-western Ontario. Brian started Salthaven in the 1990s, and it has grown to the point where his team takes care of 2000 wild animals in need of help. Supporting charities and volunteering are great ways to bring positive energy into the world! In the hustle and bustle of day-to-day survival, helping others pays big dividends personally. What goes around comes around. Having said that, there's more to this podcast than meets the eye. This podcast covers what a couple old guys think about charities and volunteering.

Religion & Spirituality is an important part of human history, and we respect people's religious views. Nonetheless, this is an unrehearsed talk, so you aren't getting a deep philosophical discussion here. Also, we probably haven't articulated everything we might (or should) have. Just two old guys with some life experience being frank in their opinions.

Aummmm ... no, it's nothing like that. That's a stereotype. Paul and John both meditate, but do it quite differently. Nonetheless, the benefits are real! We use meditation to calm the mind.
