Running a Team across Three Continents
After spending just four days in Bali (and 20 minutes in Ubud), Entrepreneur Merav Knafo decided to pack up her home in California and move to Asia.
She now runs Jom Social, a social networking app for Joomla! [a CMS similar to WordPress], and manages a remote team across three continents.
Merav describes her path to entrepreneurship as atypical. In order to get residency in the US, she set up a company and hired herself. Now 15 years and several entrepreneurial projects on and she's got no plans to lose the freedom of working for herself.
