Julianne Becker's interest in travel and coworking led to the creation of a first of a kind rural retreat for digital workers in the German countryside. She's co-founder of Coconat - a workation retreat based less than a 60-minute train ride out of Berlin that's aimed at workers who want to escape city life to work on their projects. Guests can eat and sleep at the retreat and it also offers biking, canoeing, hiking fishing and swimming nearby. What you'll hear in this podcast: What you can expect from a workation retreat. Why nomadic workers are often choosing to work from rural areas. The rise of retreats for digital nomads. More about Europe's burgeoning coworking scene. Like TurnPoint Radio?
