Becoming a Digital Nomad at 40
Australian Matt Gillman started a web development company called twenty4 in 1999 when he was 24 years old.
His work saw him designing e-Commerce sites for big brands like
Stussy and took in design, development, project management, and business operations.
But now Matt's branched off onto a new path. And together with Mark Tucker (Ex-CEO L'Oréal Australia), he's started a Men’s Skincare range – HANDSOME – which he's launched from Bali.
What you'll hear in this podcast:
Why Matt enjoys location independent life
How he's built his new business via a distributed team
Why Steven Pressfield's "The War of Art" is required reading
How working in Bali helped him triple his productivity
Why technology is making every area of business easier to do while on the move.
More people will realize it's much cheaper to work in Indonesia than in major cities like Melbourne or Sydney. So I think in the future more people will work in a location independent way.
