Sober Curious? Alexa and Mbali discuss living a substance free life.
NA and AA are not the only options when it comes to living a sober life. There are many different paths people can take to find their own sobriety. As a big supporter of NA and AA, I also believe it is important to share different view points regarding recovery options. Alexa and Mbali launched an incredible Facebook group that creates a space where people can discuss these options, pose questions, and find what works for them. "Sober Curious Socialites" is the name of their Facebook group, and they are also the ladies behind The Mock Tales, a Sober Curious Podcast that you can find on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/72LxgZG...This interview poses a variety of questions, from thoughts on non-alcoholic beverages to what is considered a mind altering substance. I want this to be a space of discussion rather than a space to fight - so if you disagree, leave your comment and let's chat it out. Personally, I do not drink non-alcoholic beverages and I feel that if you do and your are living a sober life, you just need to ask yourself "why" you are drinking it - and be self aware around it.Again, that is just my opinion and we are all allowed to have our own.I look forward to hearing your thoughts!Thank you for your time ladies, you are exceptional. You can find Sober Curious Socialites on Facebook, here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/50742...
