You guys, we did it!
We're back! We think... In an effort to help return SOME normalcy to our lives, we finally record a new episode and update you on life. We hope the world doesn't take another turn for the worse. We're recklessly pessimistic about it. Enjoy! Highlights from this episode: Updates on life, we got new jobs, musky masks, family time fails, stand goals, falling through doors, return of "any-whoodles", bad Grinch impressions. School Crisis 2020
We become an action news team to bring you the latest on how school decisions could affect you and your family.  But not really. We have a very free-flowing conversation in part 2 of our public school discussion. We talk fall school reentry plans and how it leaves everyone between a rock and a hard place. Truthfully, it all kinda sucks but we all need to be kind. And laugh a lot. Highlights from this episode: Guest podcaster Frankie the Pug, Action News Team sting, Tina wants to leave again, basement geography, school reopening plans, red herring or non sequitur?, let's all be kind. Going Public
With all the chatter around the start of a new school year, we made the ill-advised decision to wade into the discussion. In this first of two episodes, we talk about the decision to send our kids to public school. Why is this a big deal? Well, the Christian circles we were formed in made public schooling seem like turning over your kids to Satan. There is a lot of fear, misinformation, and privilege tossed into this schooling stew. We try to unpack some of it and redeem schooling choices to be about flourishing instead of fear.  Highlights from this episode: Stumbling out of the gate - Part 7, Josh sings a ditty, Instagram updates, fear and school choice, headphone problems, Frankie interrupts again, teacher friends, we each get a soapbox, the squeal that broke our podcast. Home Improvement Projects
The Fourth of July weekend has left us in a real good mood, so we bring the energy talking about projects around the house. Covering everything from our junky first house to our current much less junky house, we recall what's been funny, what's been dangerous, and what left us with sunburn. We have fun and try to keep Frankie's snoring to a minimum. Highlights from this episode: Beach-y vibes, coded messages, boarded up doors, attack of the bat(s), Frankie's nasty snoring, proper dad drill protocol, starring roles on Lowe's security footage, Micah solves Tina's math problems, weird sleep fighting. Mental Health and the Church's Response
This is the first episode that gets to the heart of what we want our podcast to be all about. We talk about mental health issues, how the American church has not prepared people well to handle these issues, and what can be done on an individual level moving forward. It's a hard conversation but just the kind of conversations we want to have. Make sure to share this one so this can be talked about more.  Highlights from this episode: Stumbling right out of the gate, cranky Tina, our mental health backgrounds, dancing on rainbows or whatever, how we fail to care for those we love, appendix in a jar, a frozen cat!?! Our Family's Journey With Celiac Disease
About three years ago, three of our kids were officially diagnosed with Celiac Disease. We detail our long road to a diagnosis, as well as some of the things we've learned along the way.  A quick note: we are not doctors. This is our family's experience and every person's symptoms and needs for food allergies is going to be different. We do not dispense anything but learned wisdom about our experience and don't talk about the causes or reasons for Celiac. We don't know enough to speak about it. Plus, this podcast is supposed to be funny and that stuff isn't very funny.  Highlights from this episode: Trying to be funny, reporting a concern, more poop problems, so many bodily functions, getting tested, "Crabb's go big or go home", Micah on the laughing gas, gluten-free bread sucks, dental filling have gluten(!?), hit us up for resources, Tina of Delphi, Tina wants out, and stumbling to the finish line. Tina shares impressive stories of her races and Josh shares all his humiliating running stories. Enjoy our latest episode and get out there and run! Highlights from this episode: A Wisconsin-y forecast, Frankie rips one, Tina is a beast, Josh embarrasses himself while running, poo issues, Red-winged blackbirds are evil, Tuesday nipple chafing, we should probably stretch, Tina rants about calories, running is like life, repeat problems. School of Hard Knocks

Sharing our disappointments, joys, and failures, we get very real while having some fun. Make sure to stay for our wrap up where we share some of the major lessons we've learned. Therapy Jar
It's our first official episode! Before we proceed to talk about a lot of different topics, we felt it would be helpful to discuss our childhoods and a little bit about where we're from. Highlights from this episode: "I like big words and I cannot lie"; Midwestern accents; liking your own posts on FB; putting your kids up for adoption; emotional constipation; being mad at my appendix; Frankie the Pug.
