In this episode we walk you through our experience of having our ceiling come down on a Friday night earlier this summer. It started with a couple drips, then grew. What we thought was a small leak was hundreds of gallons of water built up in our duct system due to improper installation and insulation. It all came crashing down as we did whatever we could to deal with the situation. What followed was a summer of mold, remediation, more remediation, and repairs, with thousands of dollars in costs, tens of thousands of dollars in costs actually. The good news is the people who did the work took full responsibility and all was well...oh yeah, no, they didn't, and we were on our own. The good news is if they had, we would not have started the Builder’s Grade Podcast in the first place, would we? Sit back and let us talk you through what happened.
