How to Communicate Confidently
How do you feel when someone misinterprets something you said or puts words in your mouth? Miscommunication can be frustrating, but it can be completely avoided, so this episode is all about confident communication. I’m teaching you how to confidently communicate with your spouse, boss, coworker, client, or neighbor without hurting anyone’s feelings or being misunderstood. The most important thing to know is that there are four parts to a conversation: what you say, what you mean, what the listener hears, and what they make it mean. I’m explaining each of these things and the role they play in confident communication as well as sharing some examples so that you can see them in action. I want you to walk away from this episode feeling confident in your communication skills and ready to start speaking up more because you’re not afraid of being misunderstood. Tune in to level up your communication right now.
