Premier League Team Of The Year 2020/21 & The Euros
Welcome to another episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast. On this episode we each share our Premier League Team Of The Year for the 2020/21 season. With standout performances from players like De Bruyne, Kante, Kane, Dias and many more, it’s not an easy task. Will Thomas be able to stay within the rules and not pick any more than three Liverpool players? Will Simon try to get Robbie Fowler in the team? Will Darren pick a team without Jack Grealish? You’ll need to hang around to find out. We also talk about the Euros and the results so far. Not easy with Thomas, who hates international football, but we get through it. If you would like to share your thoughts with the lads, then leave your comments on our Facebook group page, YouTube channel or you can leave a message in our comments section on the website www.threemenandafootball.com   Alternatively, you can email us at threemenandafootball@hotmail.com   You can also follow us on twitter: @threemenandafootball1   Thanks for listening. #PremierLeagueTeamOfTheYear #TeamOfTheYear #euros #football #threemenandafootball #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily

Poor Refereeing & VAR Continue To Ruin The Premier League
Welcome to another episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast. On this episode we review all the weekends Premier League action as Man City seem unstoppable and the teams around them drop points. We also had another weekend where VAR and poor refereeing dominated the news. We go into detail on the weekends big decisions and share our views on each. We also answer more questions from the audience with some crackers coming from And Newton, Phil Arrowsmith, Neil Holding and Sean McCusker. Sean asks us to name our top three football dinner guests which makes for an interesting and very different approach from each member of the team. We end with some word association with Thomas and although this week is not as eventful as last, we still get some great responses. #Liverpool #ManCity #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily

Welcome to another episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast. You don’t want to miss this one! We review the big Premier League games from the weekend with a focus on the Merseyside derby, where Everton beat Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield. Premier League Round Up & Football Questions From Around The World
Welcome to another episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast. On this episode, we review the big Premier League games from the weekend with a focus on the top of the table; Manchester City V’s Tottenham, Leicester V’s Liverpool and West Brom V’s Manchester United. We also discuss the latest developments with Liverpool and the rapid drop in form they have experienced in recent months. Is this the start of the end for Jurgen Klopp like some fans would say or is it a blip in form, which they can recover from? This week sees the introduction of a couple of new segments. The first is where we invite questions from the audience, preferably via video, and try to answer them as best we can. The second is a bit of word association with Thomas. For those who listen on a regular basis, you can appreciate how dangerous this is so you have to tune in to see how it goes. #Liverpool #ManCity #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #merrychristmas #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily

2021 Premier League Predictions & So Much More
Welcome to another episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast. In this episode, we make our predictions for the Premier League and more for 2021. Everything from big transfers to managerial departures to the winners and losers of the big competitions. However, we kicked off the podcast by spending some time talking about the massive success of the #milesformick campaign to help Michael Lundon and his family. Michael is suffering from MND and the campaign run by Paul Donnelly in November and December was fantastic and Michael and his family wanted to thank the football community for their support. It was great to see so many people step up to help Michael and show him love and even better to see our community get involved. We finished off this episode with the Thomas Morris Wall Of Hate, which has to be one of the best and certainly most controversial so far. Thomas’ target this week was none other than POTUS himself; Donald J Trump. Absolutely hilarious.   If you would like to share your 2021 predictions or any other thoughts with the lads, then leave your comments on our Facebook group page, YouTube channel or you can leave a message in our comments section on the website www.threemenandafootball.com   Alternatively, you can email us at threemenandafootball@hotmail.com   You can also follow us on twitter: @threemenandafootball1   Thanks for listening. #2021Premierleaguepredictions #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #merrychristmas #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily #liverpool

2020 Premier League Team Of The Year
Happy new year from the lads at Three Men And A Football. What a year it’s been for the Premier League. Who have been your stand-out players? Who stepped up their game during 2020? Which players would you have in your team if you could pick from the entire Premier League? We are kicking off 2021 by naming our 2020 Premier League Team Of The Year. We start this weeks episode with our own teams and then we attempt to agree on the best 11 players from 2020. Couple of rules; Selection should be based on form during 2020. No more than 5 players from any one team. In a year where Liverpool have dominated the Premier League, it was always going to be a challenge to stop Thomas simply naming the Liverpool 11, which is why we came up with rule number 2. We ended up with a really strong team but can you do better? If so, post your teams in the YouTube comments or on the Facebook group page.   Also, if you would like to share any other thoughts with the lads, then leave your comments on our Facebook group page, YouTube channel or you can leave a message in our comments section on the website www.threemenandafootball.com   Alternatively, you can email us at threemenandafootball@hotmail.com   You can also follow us on twitter: @threemenandafootball1   Thanks for listening. #2020TeamOfTheYear #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #merrychristmas #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily #liverpool

The Ultimate Christmas Premier League Review
On this weeks festive episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast, we go through a mid-season Premier League review. We talk about each team, how they have performed so far, what we believe the future holds and the players to watch for the rest of the season. We also talk about the annual Ben Williams Charity match in association with the #followyourheart foundation and the Vitals Signs heart charity. We played the game at South Liverpool on Sunday with a great group of lads and an amazing turn-out for a great cause. It was also a good opportunity to see all the football lads and remember our mate Ben Williams who passed away two years ago. Thomas also takes the opportunity to walk us through the goal he scored in Sunday’s game. No doubt it won’t be the last time we hear about his goal scoring prowess. Merry Christmas from the lads. We hope you have a great break and we will be back for more football chat and laughs between Christmas and New Year.   If you would like to share your thoughts with the lads, then leave your comments on our Facebook page, YouTube channel or leave a message in our comments section on the website www.threemenandafootball.com   Alternatively, you can email us at threemenandafootball@hotmail.com   You can also follow us on twitter: @threemenandafootball1   Thanks for listening. #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #merrychristmas #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily #liverpool

Talking To Tony Denson About Michael Lundon - The Footballer, Family Man And Absolute Gentleman
On this weeks very special episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast, we are joined by Tony Denson to celebrate the birthday of our good friend Michael Lundon. Michael is 40 on Wednesday 9th December and we wanted to pay tribute to him, his football career and his ongoing fight with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Tony (Deno) is Michael’s brother-in-law and close friend. So there was nobody better placed to come on the podcast and tell us all about Michael and his family. Tony talks about Michael’s amazing football career and the amount of trophies he won while playing for Waterloo Dock AFC, one of Liverpools most famous and successful amateur teams. He also tells us all about how Michael played the game… committed, hard and with a massive amount of ability. We talk about Michael’s ongoing battle with MND and how it’s impacted him and his family. And then we discuss the #Miles4Mick campaign started by Paul Donnelly and supported by thousands across the city and around the world. It’s been amazing to see what people have been doing in recent weeks to support Michael and his family. Michael is one of the nicest men you are likely to meet and we are lucky to call him a friend. He is a fighter and has dealt with adversity most of us could not even imagine. You are a real-life hero Michael and we hope you have a great 40th birthday. If you would like to get involved in the #Miles4Mick campaign, please search for #Miles4Mick on facebook and twitter and all the information will be there. Three Men And A Football - Premier League Week 9 Round-Up: VAR Continues To Ruin The Game!
On this weeks episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast, we review all the Premier League action from the weekend and argue about how VAR is ruining the game we love. Loads to talk about with the handballs against both Wolves and Liverpool. There was also a ridiculous decision, which disallowed a goal for Bamford at Leeds. Is VAR the problem? Are referees refusing to make the difficult decisions and leaving it to VAR and the officials at Stockley Park? Is it the change in the rules? Should all handballs result in free-kick or penalty? Join the lads to discuss all of this and more. We have another quizzy, quiz type, quiz question from Darren and Thomas tells us all about Pep Fraudiola as he puts him on the Wall Of Hate. Thomas also expands his linguistic skills this week, attempting to speak Spanish. Again, I’m sorry to all Spanish speakers. We also have to deal with a small legal issue created by Thomas last week. Let’s just say that he shouldn’t head to France anytime soon. #liverpool #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily

Three Men And A Football: Premier League Week 8 Round-Up: French Lessons With Thomas
On this weeks episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast, we review all the Premier League action from week 7 and preview the upcoming games from week 8. It was another eventful week with lots of goals, tight games and debatable VAR decisions. The amount of dubious penalties this week was higher than most and we discuss them all. Obviously, the only one Thomas fully agreed with was in the Liverpool game! We also see the return of the quizzy, quiz type, quiz question from Darren and Thomas delivers another classic Wall Of Hate. As part of the Wall Of Hate, Thomas showcases his linguistic skills by speaking French. Well, that’s what he calls it anyway. I would like to apologise to all our French speaking listeners for the butchering of your language. Very funny though. #liverpool #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily

Three Men And A Football - Talking Acting And Premier League Football With Philip McGuinness
On this weeks show we spend time with friend of the show, actor and big football fan Philip McGuinness. One day he’s working alongside global superstars like Stephen Graham and the next he’s giving acting advice to Thomas Morris. It’s one extreme to the other in the life of an actor. We spend some time talking to Phil about his acting career and dig into his love for Everton and David Beckham. Yes, he is an Everton fan but his most memorable football moment was Beckham scoring from the halfway line. I bet he makes all you blues very proud. Ha ha! We end the episode by having Phil join us in reviewing this weekends Premier League action and dig into all the talking points from a big weekend. Highlight of the show had to be Phil setting Thomas up for a bit of acting practice by turning him into a Chelsea fan for an audition. Let’s just say it didn’t go well. Definitely one of the funniest episodes we have ever recorded and Phil was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He’s a great actor and can be seen on Netflix in The Alienist: Angel of Darkness or on Amazon Prime in Being Keegan. Both well worth your time, especially Being Keegan with Stephen Graham. Here is a link to Phil's YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/906TheDoctor  If you would like to share your thoughts with the lads, then leave your comments on our Facebook page, YouTube channel or leave a message in our comments section on the website www.threemenandafootball.com   Alternatively, you can email us at threemenandafootball@hotmail.com   You can also follow us on twitter: @threemenandafootball1   Thanks for listening. #liverpool #philipmcguinness #premierleague #football #threemenandafootball #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily

Three Men And A Football - The Man, The Myth, The Legend: Liverpool's Billy Birch
On this weeks episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast, the lads are joined by one of the best known men in Liverpool amateur football, Billy Birch. Billy is a long time friend of the lads and has been involved with the Liverpool amateur football scene for about 50 years. Billy has played for and managed some of the best amateur teams in the city and refereed at the top level of the professional game. Having managed Old Xav’s for many years where Simon and Darren played, Billy is now the Chairman of South Liverpool, where Thomas managers and Simon and Darren continue to try to play the game they love. Billy shares stories of his playing, managing and refereeing days, including a run-in with Alex Ferguson while refereeing a cup game involving Man Utd. He’s had some amazing experiences and loves to talk so this is a long one. Three Men And A Football - Premier League Weekend 2 Review
Goals, football debate, arguments about VAR and lots of banter… What more do you need from a podcast? What a weekend of football. There were 41 Premier League goals in 8 games on Saturday and Sunday and the Three Men And A Football team discuss them all. We also discuss VAR and the big taking points from the weekend as the referees start to use the pitch-side monitor more in order to help with decision making. Then we talk about the contributions from the key signings during the first 2 weeks of the season. More importantly, this week sees the return of the Thomas Morris Wall Of Hate and this one is a cracker.  It’s even funnier as Thomas was feeling rough after a heavy weekend so was struggling to string together a sentence. Well worth a watch just for that. #liverpool #premierleaguechampions #football #premierleague #threemenandafootball #matchoftheday #footballdiscussion #footballdaily #premierleague2020
