Dr. David Falk is a professional egyptologist who runs a youtube channel called "Ancient Egypt and the Bible". He joins us today to talk about the Exodus and if it really happened, when he thinks it happened, and why it all matters. Surprisingly, the issue of the exodus is incredibly contentious and triggering in the realm of scholarship. You have some scholars say it happened earlier around 1400 BC, other say around 1200 BC - which is the later date view, and some who even say it didn't happen at all. Part of the reason this is so volatile of a subject is that depending on what you choose to believe, there is a lot of fallout on how you receive the entire Old Testament pretty much.  This was a super fascinating discussion and we think you will agree!
