Deepak Bista (Olympian) is a most successful Nepalese taekwondo athlete, who holds the record for the first South Asian player to win four consecutive Gold medalist in South Asian Game. He is the taekwondo black belt 6th Dan holder as his professional qualification. When he was a yellow belt in 1996, he won his first Gold medal in his life in the National Taekwondo Championship held in Hetauda. He won a bronze medal at the 2002 Asian Games held in Busan, South Korea.
