Coming On August 14th Meranda Squires is the daughter of renowned Newfoundland artist Gerald Squires she is an entrepreneur, a yogi and a cornerstone of the spiritual community here in Newfoundland. Jeremy Bennett – Overcoming Stress and Anxiety

Having been diagnosed at a young age with a severe form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety and clinical depression, he knows first hand the effects of mental illness. In 2006 Jeremy graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy. In 2010, he published his first book, The Power of the Mind: How I Beat OCD. In this book he exposed his life living with a severe form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and what he did to overcome what his own doctor told him he could not. This book was published by Flanker Press and was released worldwide. He has been speaking on the topic of stress and anxiety for the past ten years and has produced three national and international television documentaries on the power of the mind. He has traveled throughout Canada, the U.S.A., and the UK presenting for tens of thousands of people with his presentation, The Secrets to Beating Anxiety. Jeremy has been featured on many national and international television networks such as CTV, Global TV, Vision TV, CBC, TSN, and TSN2. In 2011 he was selected to represent Canada during Mental Illness Awareness Week and because of his worldwide impact in the field of anxiety he was appointed, World Youth Ambassador by The World Organization of Natural Medicine in 2012. Because of his contribution in the field of mental health he was awarded, Personality of the Year by The World Organization of Natural Medicine in 2013. In 2014 he released his second book, The Solution: Learn How to Truly Beat Stress & Anxiety. This book was published by Motivational Press in Los Angeles and released worldwide. His work and presentations have been endorsed by some of the most respected doctors in the world, experts in the field and some of the cast of the hit book and movie, The Secret. He is currently filming his forth television documentary in Los Angeles and is also involved in a local project called Awaken NL. The Mindful Entrepreneur - Jesse Stirling Jesse is the host/producer of "Meetings with Remarkable People" on NTV ( Newfoundland Television ), he's interviewed Dr. Wayne Dwyer, Deepak Chopra just to name a few people. Jesse is also a documentary filmmaker as he just recently premiered his new film "In Search Of A New Age" you can view that film here. This film documents Jesse's travels to document his grandfather the Canadian broadcast legend Geoff Stirling's search for timeless spiritual wisdom in India. Alongside all of these accolades, Jesse's a nice guy, thoughtful and the Epitomy of a mindful leader. However the people on the show aren't neccesarily the spiritual/positive celebrities we always see, it could be the entrepreneurs and the average people in society who get through the obstacles of everyday life with a smile on their faces. Having uplifting conversations around mindfulness in business and everyday life i.e; meditation, having an attitude of giving and loving and living a life based around delivering value are the key fundamentals to inspiring a positive community. This is the shift that is currently happening all over the world. Arriana Huffington describes the world as a place that is imbalanced more focused around a "man's world" where compassion and forgiveness is not relevant where "might is right," The shift that's happening is geared around a more compassionate approach to business and life in general. We need to redefine out metrics to success to live a life more focused around, wisdom, wellness and wonder. Enjoy life and do what you are passionate about and success will come. Rumi a third century poet quoted, "trade in your cleverness for bewilderment" life is so much more fun when you realize that you don't know it all. Plato quoted "I know nothing." We will work ourselves to the brink of death, diabetes, heart attacks, etc. and we will spend everything we have to become healthy again. The key is to focusing on health, the true metric to success.
