Before the Spazmatics, there was…. Eightysomething! Yesterday’s Sounds of Tomorrow…. Today! This week on The Wrap Out, Michael David McBane, Michael Rosch, possibly some pre-taped participation from Debbie Roxx and yours truly will conduct a post-mortem on the joys and pitfalls of starting an 80’s variety band before the public knew it needed one.

A trip in the way-back with Andrew Matthews and Katie Graham, who wrote and co-directed an Austin-made, SXSW Audience Award-winning gem of a flick called Zero Charisma. I was the production sound mixer and it’s one of my favorite projects.

For our very first episode, we talk with old friend and long-time collaborator Bill (Bildo) Sarver. He’s spearheaded several electronic-centric music projects in Austin, such as Necrofix, Digit, OHN, Lila’s Medicine and Lance Herbstrong.
