How to win the battle for your life with Cancer Survivor Eddie Richardson
This episode will have you on the edge of your seat. As we close out Prostates Awareness Month, my dear friend and Frat Brother Eddie Richardson joins me to discuss his journey to win his battle with Prostate Cancer. A man of faith and perseverance, Eddie walks me through his journey from his diagnosis to being a survivor. It is a story filled with brick walls, but Eddie took his sledgehammer with him to ensure that any challenge he faced was demolished. Riveting doesn't even begin to describe this story and the man that Eddie has become. Just so you understand, although Prostate cancer is curable, it is more aggressive and lethal to Black men, thus Eddie's story is a reminder to all men, don't take your health lightly. Please, go get checked often, if could be a matter of life and death. Enjoy this revolution!

I WISH MY DAD... with 3X author Romal Tune
On September 16th, my father's physical light was extinguished. He was my utter, my guy, my best of the best friend. Charles S. Corprew, Jr. was a juggernaut of man. He was the penultimate father. To honor his legacy, author Romal Tune joins me on the show to discuss his forthcoming book, "I Wish My Dad: The Power of vulnerable conversations between fathers and sons. A wonderful primer, co-authored by 17 men as they discuss the things their fathers had done in their relationships. For me, I wish my dad was still here! Yet, for many, they detail how they wished their fathers were there more often or had been more vulnerable, or been more loving. Fathers are staples of our lives and this book and these authors highlight how some fathers need to step up. Yet for others, like myself, I wish my dad had seen me get married or coupled. I wish my dad had a grandson to love on as he loved on me for 50+ years. I wish my dad was still here! The conversation between Romal and I weaves its way through overcoming trauma, showing up in a world trauma-free, to understanding the roles of our fathers in our lives and how these folx are pivotal to our ability to thrive in the world. I just have to say this! I have the dopest guest on this show! To order his book! The Power of Laughter with Sensational Comedian Syrok Foxx
When was the last time you belly laughed? Do you know what laughter can do for your body and mind? Laughter is the panacea for life. Former White House luminary and Political Operative, now CEO of Active Peace Yoga joins me on the show to talk about his journey out of the stressful political ranks that saw him as he says, "smoking cigarettes and drinking bourbon for breakfast" to leaning into a practice of yoga and meditation that have allowed him to be free. Award-winning CEO of DC Based "Good Projects" joins me on the show to give a masterclass in how to answer our signature question and then go out in the world to make your revolution a reality. How to Love More Intimately - Dr. Sonjia Kenya - Sexologist, Author, Podcaster
What's good Revolutionaries? What makes you want to have sex time and time again? Sex has always been a taboo subject, yet its objectification is in our faces every day. Some of us learn early what sex is, this may or not be good. For boys as they mature, and particularly in this era of easy access to images, sex and intimacy may not be married together. (e.g. Pornhub) Thus, some may wonder, what is good sex? How can sex be more intimate? How can I be safe during a sexual encounter? Is it ok to be with more than one partner? What will make me want to be with just one partner? How do I pleasure my partner and a host of other questions? Continuing our Relationship series and following up the mega-successful episode with Kishshana Palmer. Dr. Sonjia Kenya joins me on the show. She is America's sexologist, an associate professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, the author of Sex in South Beach, and the host of the podcast with the same name. In this episode, we talk about the mind-body corollary when it comes to mind-blowing sex and how to create a safe space for sex to happen without worry. Dr. Sonjia remarks you can't have great sex if you are worried about the experience. For many men who experience erection problems, feeling psychologically unsafe may be the issue. We also discuss the steps men and the people who love them can take to have better sex tonight. In the midst of the conversation, we talk about how to be an ally to our LGBTIA brothers and sistas. It is a wonderful thing when we can celebrate "Sex", not just cisgender, heterosexual sex. This is a riveting, informative, eye-opening, and humourous conversation about a topic that is critical to our longevity and health. Please enjoy it like you enjoy your sex life. Please check out Dr. Sonjia on her podcast - Sex in South Beach and her book of the same name. You can find all of her materials at DrSonjia.com

How to Live Forever with Rockstar Cardiologist Dr. Travis Batts
What's Good Revolutionaries? As we continue our journey on cognitive and heart health and longevity, my new friend and revolutionary, Dr. Travis Batts joins me to talk about what everyday things we can do to live forever. Heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes are the most prolific killers of men in our country, but we can mitigate these diseases by moving toward a more plant-based/plant-forward diet. Dr. Batts chronicles his journey, the insights he has learned from his family and patients, and how we need to take out "Meds" to ensure we live a healthy and fruitful life. Coupled with Turnip Vegan's "How To Save Your Life", this episode will revolutionize how you think about what you are putting in your mouth. One of my favorite comments from Dr. Batts is, "We have to think of food as we think about sex". "We must have a healthy, intimate relationship with it, only then will it fuel our longevity". What a great episode!

How to save you life with Vegan Chef Turnip Vegan
What's Good Revolutionaries? In one of the most powerful conversations I've had as a host, Todd Anderson AKA Turnip Vegan comes by the show to talk about how to save your life by going vegan. I have been curious about the impact of going plant-based or being more plant-based forward. Turnip describes in full detail how it has changed his life in more ways than he expected. He is living a fuller and more compelling life. Inside his story of change lies a sub-story that is compelling and is deeply rooted in choice points, those moments where we have to decide who we want to be, ordinary or revolutionary. Clearly, Turnip wanted to be revolutionary and his revolution is transforming lives across the nations, particularly those of people of color. Riveting doesn't even start to document how powerful this conversation is. It had me in tears. You can check all of Turnip's social media - Turnip Vegan on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube!

Five Year Anniversary Show - The Best of Year Four
Five years ago today, January 17, 2017, I sat in a room nervous about interviewing the great New Orleanian, Oliver Thomas. It was the first episode of the What's Your Revolution? show. We had a powerful conversation and the show was born. It has been a wonderful ride and has become the ultimate passion of my life - uplifting the voices of men( and some women) who have found their calling and are spreading it to the world. These people are the revolutionaries we seek to be. They are compassionate, flawed, self-aware, inspirational leaders who seek better communities, better people. Through 128 shows with authors, activists, actors, athletes, politicians, and the like we have woven a tapestry of transformation for our listeners. My only hope is that this show has touched your life as much as it has revolutionized mine. To celebrate 5 years, my team and I have pulled together some of the most inspiring passages from an amazing fourth year of the show. Although we could not get something from all of our amazing guests, there are transformational messages in every excerpt that we present. We hope you enjoy it and we look forward to the next year with you #revolutionaries. Thank you for all your support and love, I send it right back to you 100 fold. Please make sure that if you like or love it, please leave a review on your favorite podcast medium!
