Season 4 Ep 4: Healing Yo'self with Rap Artist Kiyoshi
Hey great humans! Well this was a little left of centre of what we usually chat about on the podcast but I thought this would BE SO valuable - AND IT WAS! Kiyoshi is a global MC, rap coach, and EPIC artist! Kiyoshi’s music is super empowering and inspiring, incorporating affirmations and messages of personal power into his lyrics, and he is on a mission to help other fellow human folk transform, transmute, and break through fears by teaching them how to create and perform their own rap (ie truth) from the heart. I’ll be honest, I found even the THOUGHT of creating rap and then performing it in front of people absolutely terrifying (and I’m sure I’m not the only one), but as you listen to Kiyoshi talk about how it breaks down people’s barriers, negative self-beliefs and frees them to be confident and speak their truth, you might want to lean in. AND I finally FINALLY got to have a song sung about me LOL! Kiyoshi is one of those bright, sparkly souls I always seem to find for you guys, and after you listen to the poddy I recommend you go find him on Spotify and have a listen. His music has the best vibration and …. Well, go and listen and see for yourself! I’m SUPER excited too, because starting on the 24th of January, you can PERSONALLY join Kiyoshi on an 8 week online journey to jump-start your writing, self-expression, poetry, rap, songs, live performance skills, and free-styling (he goes into this in the podcast). (Details below). You are going to LOVE this guy! Season 4 Ep 3: How to get rich slow (kidding, kind of) with Richard Harrington
Helloooooo humans! Wholly shit sticks batman, this was legit one of my most mind blowing interviews. We all know that money and finances can really affect us: mentally, emotionally AND physically. Richard takes on a deep dive into why you don’t have enough money, and how you can change your mindset so you can start to create more of the spendy stuff! He’s one of my new favourite people on the planet. He’s so authentic and on a mission to help people take their power back, and break out of the system (anyone else have Queen’s “I’ve got to break free” in their head right now?). I’m VERY transparent in this podcast. Money seems to flow to me when I need it most, but slips through my fingers like unicorn poop. But this podcast has literally made my brain do backflips because it’s time to change what we believe about money, and get EXCITED about having more of it. Newsflash: THERE’S ENOUGH TO GO AROUND PEOPLE! Also, listen all the way to the end because Richard has an awesome new offer that is starting in January and I’m jumping on board, and I reckon if you want more money then you should too. So give yourself a NY’s gift for 2022 and …. well…. Just listen to the poddy and find out for yourself. (More details below!). Season 4 Ep 2: The truth about meat with Brian Sanders
Today's podcast features none other than Brian Sanders. Now if you’re wondering who he is, you might know him as @food.lies on the old Instagram, or from the very enlightening documentary “The Game Changers Debunked”. This guy is LEGIT. He’s sooooo passionate about health, the planet, and we talked allll things MEAT. Everything Brian says is backed up by science and to be honest, is pretty hard to argue with. I legitimately missed so many questions because I just got so excited about chatting with him. (He’s definitely one of my peoples). You’re about to learn why humans need meat, how to lose weight super easy taking a high road approach, how many food lies we’ve all been fed (mind the pun), and how to break free from the lies and make your way back to true health again. I was so bloody inspired after my chat with him, that I think I’ve even increased my OWN intake of meat. Keep an eye out in the future for his new documentary “Food Lies”, and his ripper Podcast “Peak Human”. So strap yourself in, you’re about to get triggered, humbled, and healthy. S3 Ep #9 - Dr Tommy John is not a doctor
It’s season 3, episode 9 - Dr Tommy John. Today we have a super RAD guest, who recorded an absolute belter of an episode with us on all things health, and provided us with an insight into the REAL power your body has to keep you alive, kicking & thriving...and guess what, it’s not at the bottom of a pill pot.  He’s a sword weilding, hat wearing legend, who’s mission is to empower people with authenticity, truth & the essentials they need to take back their lives...It is of course Dr, not a doctor, but is actually a Dr Tommy John! TJ shared with us his philosophy on health, how he views terms like “sickness" & "disease" in relation to that and tells us the 8 essential principles he follows and teaches his clients (& also the world cause he’s kinda a big deal on insta), that can lead us all to TRUE health - mind, body & soul.  In the words of this wise egg, “the journey is the medicine” - so come on a journey with us and Dr (not a Dr, but actually a Dr) Mr TJ...as we explore what the hell is going on with the health status of us human folk & what we can do about it to embrace all that our body has the capability to do for us, and grow ourselves into strong, robust human people that are just kicking the shit out of life cause we’re loving it all over the god damn place.

S3 Ep #7 - Yoga with Michael
Today's guest is a bloody beautiful specimen of a human being, Michael Toru, and we’re so super excited to share him with you all today! Nikki found this little gem of a lad after signing up to a yoga app last year, and in a round-about-way, she totally fell in love with one of the teachers, and his approach and style to teaching yoga...so naturally she reached out to him, and asked if he’d be willing to come and share some of him wisdom with us on the poddy...and luckily for us, he said yes! Today Michael shares with us his personal philosophy on yoga, how he has used the discipline to help him move through challenges in his own life and with his health, different ways to practice the art, and basically why its just a rad ol' way to move the body to help us all carve out ways to a happier, healthier future.  Cheers to that! So go find yourself a quiet little sunny spot to soak up this podcast, as Michael just radiates an energy of warmth and love throughout this entire chat (must be all that yoga right?) - so we really hope you enjoy him, just as much as we did! You can find Michael on Instagram @michaeltoru and on YouTube (Michael Toru). So much free Yoga!!!

S3 Ep #6 - Bodybuilding Truths with Indah Sanny
It's season 3, episode 6 and today’s guest is our beautiful mate and FMA alumni Coach Indah Sanny.  Indah came on the poddy today to chat with us about all things bodybuilding: her experience in the sport, the issues she faced with her own relationships to food and body image as a result of her time spent competing, and how she feels now after deciding to hang up her heels and no longer stepping on stage.  The fitness industry is SUPER glamourised these days, and myself and Nikki have also both experienced the world of competing in bodybuilding and let me tell you - there’s a whole heap of shit that goes on behind the scenes that a lot of people aren’t aware of - beyond the shredded abs that end up on instagram! So listen up as Indah gives us an open and honest insight into her experience in the bodybuilding industry. The message within this chat isn’t just for people who are wanting to compete - it’s applicable to all of us who want to, or who are trying to, improve our body’s condition or physique - because everyday folk like us get easily seduced into doing the same dumb shit that goes on in this world too.  We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did. You can find Indah on Instagram @indahsannycoach and on Facebook.

S3 Ep #5 - Cyndi O'Meara: Queen of Nutrition Bad-assery
So today’s episode is number 5 of season 3 and my oh my do we have an absolute TREAT in store for you today! Cyndi O'Meara is a nutritionist, a film maker, she’s the owner of the Australian-based wholefood company Changing Habits, the founder of the Nutrition Academy and she’s also a best selling author. And to top that off, we're also going to give her the honorary wellness wallop title of overall Queen of nutrition bad-assery, because this lady has dedicated her life to researching & understanding what food really is, and how big corporations have manipulated our food supply and led us down a path into believing their fake, synthetic, chemically laden food is good for us.  We thank the Universe that people like her exist, to be able to educate the rest of us into making better decisions for ourselves, And she ain’t afraid to tell you how it is.  And you know us, we love an empowered chick with a big set of ovaries, We bought Cyndi here today to talk about her mentally rad book "Lab To Table” - stop being a lab rat, start marking better choices for your table.  There is so much GOLD in this book, it’s impossible for us to talk about ALL of it in today’s podcast, so make sure you listen all the way to end, because Cindy dropped a nice little surprise on us with an AMAZING offer for you guys listening regarding how to grab yourself your own copy of lab to table...it’s at an absolute stealGET YOUR FREE BOOK HERE (CODE: Wallop if you go in arse-about).  And for our Australian listeners...this is a call to arms! We need your help!  We have until March 15th 2021 to submit suggestions to the Dietary Guidelines (which is currently up for review in Australia), in an effort to help switch the current guidelines supporting ultra-processsed foods, in favour for sustainable and regeneratively grown produce - which you and I know is a million times better for your body.  We need to start paying attention to the QUALITY of our food team, not the quantity of it, if we really want to make an impact on the state of the produce that is ending up on our shelves...and ultimately inside us.  Cindy has passed on to us an incredible letter she has written with some background  information to help support the submission with the relevant links to the survey,  so PLEASE, if you care about food and the future of what goes on our supermarkets shelves & therefore eventually into your gob & your guts then HAVE YOUR SAY!  HEAD TO THE SURVEY FOR YOUR INPUT INTO NEW DIETARY GUIDELINES [If you want a copy of Cyndi's RIPPER letter regarding the current dietary guidelines, email us at nikki@teamstrongaf.com.au.  Go forth legends, and let your voice be heard before the 15th of March, so we can change the current (and atrocious) dietary guidelines.]

S3 Ep #4 - Busting limiting self-beliefs with Marianne Graber
We're already at Episode 4 of Season 3 of The Wellness Wallop Podcast and today we’re high vibing with one of our fave spiritual beauties Marianne Graber from Mari.graber.healing. Mari is an energy healing coach, who is here to help us human folk learn how to heal our traumas, reprogram our limiting beliefs and master our emotions so we can finally get out of our own god damn way and live the lives we want to! As holistic coaches, we know how important energy is to the healthy operation of a human soul, but sometimes it's shrugged off as a bit of a “woo woo” notion in the realm of health, So we bought Mari here today to give us the lowdown on the effects of energy on the body, how to understand the subconscious mind, the use of theta healing her practice and why it’s so bloody important for us adult people to learn how to deal with our emotional wellbeing.  She’s an absolute fire cracker and we love her fearless approach to helping her clients (in her words) find those big piles of shit, and dive head first into it to uncover the problems and then smash them outta the way. We know you’re going to love her as much as we do. Enjoy! You can find Marianne on Instagram @mari.graber.healing

S3 Ep #3 - Disordered Eating with Gemma Henly
Hey legends! We are back for Episode 3 of Season 3 of the Wellness Wallop podcast, and today's guest is our gorgeous friend and fellow FMA alumni Gemma Henly of 'Elevate with Gem'. We brought Gem on today to have a really candid chat with us about her experience of dealing with and overcoming an eating disorder. Painful relationships with food is probably one of the most common issues we see as coaches and it’s a topic of conversation that comes up for almost everybody we each see individually in our respective practices & businesses.  Gemma is also an amazing coach, so we really wanted to share with you her personal perspective of dealing with an eating disorder, but also for her to be able to share her wisdom from what she has learnt from her coaching journey and how she’s been able to use those tools to continue to help her heal from her past relationships with food. Now it’s probably important to note here that none of us are psychologists so we don’t professionally work in the realm of eating disorders, so please, if you listen to this podcast and it resonates with you, or perhaps concerns you with respect to someone you love, make sure you reach out and get the appropriate help.Where to find Gemma: Instagram: @elevatewithgem Facebook:

S3 Ep #2 - All Things Sexy with Daniela Garcia
Welcome back Wellness Wallop team! It’s episode 2, season 3 and today's special guest is the beautiful Daniela Garcia aka The Joy Alchemist She is a fellow Seven Body Basics Action Coach, so we have had the absolute blessing to connect with her through our mutual mentor and friend Ximy Gonazales.  Dani is a life coach and wellness curator, and as her business name would suggest, she is here to help men and women transform their lives through the process of alchemy, accessing the ability to create joy within and all around themselves.  We got into a phenomenal chat today with Dani all about women and their sexuality, and as Nikki would call it "talking about all the 'pink bits'", and how that really shapes a woman’s experience of whole health regarding the relationship she has to her own body. We spoke about the use of yoni wands, the magic of self pleasure and how women AND men can utilise these tools to connect back to the wonders of their own bodies and become empowered in their own sexual energies. This one is juicy AF. Enjoy the chat humans. You can find Daniela on Instagram @thejoyalchemist and on Facebook (The Joy Alchmist).

S2 Ep #8 Addictions & Trauma with Ryan Hassan
In this episode, we're joined by Ryan Hassan from the Centre for Healing. We had a beautiful discussion on mental health, trauma and the path to addiction. Ryan co-founded The Centre For Healing, following his own personal experiences battling  and overcoming drug addiction. The reason we LOVE Ryan, and why we asked him to join us on the poddy, is because he is super passionate about helping people get to the root cause of their trauma and heal that part of themselves so they can experience long term recovery from addiction and mental health issues. We kicked off today’s podcast by going into Ryan’s story. We highly recommend you go to Ryan’s website www.thecentreforhealing.com.au and watch his video titled “A story of anxiety, addiction, suppressed emotion and hope".We also dive into food addictions, emotional eating, and binge eating. We ask Ryan to share his insights on where addictions start, our relationship to trauma, shame and guilt, looking into beliefs and where they come from and what options people have if they recognise they might need some help. From the start, Ryan drops truth bombs, insights and incredible wisdom into this area of health every time he opens his mouth so make sure you have a pen and paper ready to take some notes! You can connect with Ryan in these places: InstagramYouTubeTwitterFacebook

S2 Ep #6 - Ximy Gonzalez
In this episode we chatted with our mentor, coach and soul sister, Ximy Gonzalez. She's an international speaker, TV fitness personality, author,  and director of health and wellness for the FMA strength institute. It was SUCH an epic poddy, we had to split it into 2 episodes. In Part 1, we explored the concept of instinct injury, disconnection from our bodies, the dangers of co-dependancy and relying on authority figures to manage our bodies for us, and understanding personal power. Hold onto your hats, because this episode is likely to trigger the shit out of you and make you question a lot of what you’ve bought into when it comes to your own health and wellness. Our advice is to get out your journal, and be ready to make some notes for contemplation later.
