The Weekly ReBoot - Mini Hack #29 Check in on-line
Today’s episode is a mini-hack all about checking in on-line, If you’re team has moved to home working you’re probably learning and adapting very quickly to making things work for you without being in physical proximity to each other, and I’m sure like me you’re seeing many articles, videos and guides for how to get remote working working well for you. If you listened to a previous mini hack #21 from the 8th November,  it was about breaking the ice, using icebreakers at the start of a meeting, well this is effectively moving that activity or purpose to an on-line meeting.  Here’s a previous episode about Icebreakers: The Weekly ReBoot - MiniHack Icebreakers If you want to drop us a line you can anytime with feedback on the podcast or more questions email rebootme@rebootco.com.au You can follow us on social media @therebootco on twitter, or me @stokesxandra or subscribe to our newsletter, which will be coming on Monday, visit https://www.rebootco.com.au/newsletter to get your name on that list and we’ll have it in your email inbox on Monday to kick off the week.  AND of course subscribe to this podcast in your regular podcast ap, and we’ll back in your ears in a couple of weeks after victorian school holidays with help, tips, interviews and more.

The Weekly ReBoot - Mini Hack #28 Have a Chat
Hello and welcome to the reboot your regular Friday de-brief of things we’ve heard and seen coming from the agile community here in Melbourne and beyond. And the things that we’ve heard and seen mostly coming from the agile community here in Melbourne and beyond is agile combined with remote working, Here are the other podcasts I mentioned: https://www.rebootco.com.au/podcast/2019/3/8/the-weekly-reboot-lisette-sutherland https://www.rebootco.com.au/podcast/2018/12/7/the-weekly-reboot-bonus-episode-jay-hyett Here are the links to their sites and blogs: https://www.collaborationsuperpowers.com/covid19/ https://jayhyett.wordpress.com/2020/03/15/10-helpful-tips-for-working-remotely/ https://jayhyett.wordpress.com/2020/03/19/time-to-take-a-break/ Today’s mini hack is about getting out of your team and your comfort zone and have a chat. Talking makes solutions move sooooooo much quicker. Stop preventing conversations with too many tech cards, too many documents and emails and go and chat with people instead, hopefully it will make your work flow much quicker. If you want to drop us a line you can anytime with feedback on the podcast or more questions email rebootme@rebootco.com.au You can follow us on social media @therebootco on twitter, or me @stokesxandra or subscribe to our newsletter, which will be coming soon I promise, visit https://www.rebootco.com.au/newsletter OR subscribe in your regular podcast ap, and we’ll back in your ears at 4pm next week!

The Weekly ReBoot - Mini Hack #20 The Rules of Brainstorming
Another mini hack today which is from the Design Thinking body of knowledge and the masters of Design Thinking - IDEO, and that is The Rules of Brainstorming. Brain- storming is one of those things that gets thrown about a lot as a technique. But it can often descend into just a flurry of ideas or conversation without any resolution or purpose. OR even worse self/censoring or censoring other people’s ideas can yield an atmosphere where the best and most creative contributions never make it to the table. The Brainstorming Rules: Defer Judgement Encourage wild ideas Build on other’s ideas Stay on Topic One conversation at a time Be visual Go for quantity Watch the brainstorming rules video from IDEO: https://vimeo.com/138588491 Here are the rules on Ideo’s design kit, a great resource! https://www.designkit.org/methods/28 We’d love you feedback, get in contact if you have some, or if you want to learn more about increasing team performance Email us rebootme@rebootco.com.au Follow Alex on twitter @stokesxandra follow ReBoot Co. on twitter @Therebootco

The Weekly ReBoot - Mini Hack #17 Everyone deserves agility
This week another mini hack and it was inspired by a twitter thread that I saw last week. The thread in question suggested that Agile was going to “jump the shark” because of such Malarky as a HR Agility Manifesto that someone had created, and you kind find that manifesto at "https://www.agilehrmanifesto.org/“ We’ve got a special episode coming up a couple of weeks, you’ll be able to come along to a live recording of the podcast, the date for that will be the 22nd of October and we’ll bring your more details about that soon or you can follow us on social media to find out more about that.
