Definition: Fortifying Relationships
– to activate the principles of God to rebound and excel even after encountering adversity to maximize relationships in our life to the glory of God!
Investing in Myself for the Benefit of others. Joshua1:7-8 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Making the Investment in Personal Spiritual Growth. Ps 1:1-3 1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.2But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
1. Time spent in spiritual growth will strengthen you to fight for relationships.
2. Time spent in spiritual growth will accrue blessings on your life for what you do for others - Eph 6…what you make happen for others…
3. Time spent in spiritual growth will chart a course for others to follow.
Psalm 78:5-7 5For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: 6That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: 7That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
Making the Investment through Building Self Esteem. Most people are at such an emotional deficit that they are unable to stand in faith for the correction of the dysfunctions in their relationships because of their lack of fulfillment and self-worth estimate.
